Nothing bad about this place, it's definitely on the cheap side and a bit run-down, also when I was there, there wasn't much of a social or fun atmosphere at all, it was quite depressing to hang around. However, the staff are as helpful as they can be given their limited English, and the rooms are adequate. As one of... More

After the hustle and bustle of Bangkok this place is a welcome retreat set on the banks of the river Kwai it's quiet but not too far from local amineties. It's a five min walk from the station past the war cemetery. Close to the local restaurants and 7/11. I opted for the double bungalow on the river front 950baht... More

It was one of those low season nights, when we thought nothing is going to happen tonight. Then we discovered this awesome place. The housekeeper, sugar, knows how to create an lovely atmosphere between party and chill. If I ever come to kanchanaburi again, I know where to have a good night :)

Nice, hidden guesthouse with clean bungalows for low price. Staff is really friendly. Relaxed atmosphere directly at the river with comfortable seats to hangout, including awesome view of sunrise/sunset.

Heard from someone that they were not happy with the bar. There is no bar. The owner has a bar in town. The rooms were good value and thew staff were friendly. We stayed for 1 month and will go back this year in April. Fantastic views of the gills and river. You get what you pay for here.

If you're looking for a budget accommodation, skip this, because they take from you way more than you paid. I have 450SGD and 330USD, which I was intending to use in Laos and Cambodia after travelling up Thailand, stolen from my backpack, which is one of the bags I'm carrying, the other being a small dayback, which is always left... This guesthouse is easy to miss and does not standout from the crowd. Its right next to the VN which the staff appear to be very unhappy for some reason. The rooms are OK and the view of the river is right up there with the best. The reception area is a bit shabby and does not have a restaurant... More
