Our stay at Pavilion Rim Kwai was wonderful. The big swimming pool was being cleaned so we got to swim in the river adjacent to the resort. Food isn't great but manageable. There was a movie shooting going on and the support staff were drinking and making a lot of noise early in the morning.

The view of the mountain side and the river next to the big pool is AMAZING. The other things was alright. Rooms are clean. Staffs are friendly. Food for the first few days just tasteless but the rest of the trip are alright. For Thai food please make sure the cooks put more flavor to your meals. Snacks, Ice creams... More

Last Friday, October 23 of 2015. I went to Kanchanaburi with my church for a freedom camp. I didn't know what kind of hotel would it be, I just know that I would be staying there for 3 days 2 night. I got there in about an 6 hours from Bangkok, the first impression of me when I saw the... More

It is an nice hotel for people to travel with family or friends. You could pay only little for a room. The cheapest room price is about 1800 Baht. The swimming pool is nice and big. But this hotel wasn't as good as before. Even though it's an old hotel, it is still a good place for traveling. Also, there... More

We can in here knowing that it's an older property and it's not a romantic type resort. We are a group of friends who wanted to get away for the weekend and found the bungalows at the Pavilion Rim Kwai to be what we are looking for. Yes,the property is not as new as the others as it is one... More

I don't know where to start. The cockroaches inside my room on the 4th floor, the worst restaurant ever in thailand, the antfarm inside my room or the Asian music at 07:00 in the morning... Don't go there. The hotel was maybe not that bad a few years ago but today it is just a dump. The hotel is 30km... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of our tour. When we entered our room, all we could smell was mould. The bathroom was filthy and mould growing in the shower. The shower leaked and we had water all over the bathroom floor. The hotel is very run down and the gardens have been neglected. The food was average -... More

We picked this hotel because the pictures looked decent and it was the only place we could find in Kanchanaburi that would accommodate 9 people for two nights on Jan 2. It was also very cheap, and with hindsight I can understand why. Do not be taken in by the impressions given in the photos. The resort is run-down, ill-maintained... More

This place need a health warning, it must be one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere in South East Asia, and I've stayed in some pits believe me. A very very tired hotel in need of a massive expensive refurb, everything you looked at was falling apart, faded or just broken. The smell in the rooms was... More
