It's good for a solo traveller cheap rooms have the washroom outside but no toilet papers in the washrooms. Scooter rental is $200 BHT per day, they hold your passport during the rental period. The view is just amazing as this guesthouse is located by the river with Mon Bridge in the background. I stayed in a room with fan...

Cheap rooms, good water pressure and fast wi-fi are the only good things of this guesthouse. Reception was very noisy (tv shouting out loud until midnight). Our room window was facing concrete wall of the opposite building 20cm away, fan was filthy and loud and sheets had staines and hole.

I stayed here for longer than I expected to. "P" the owner is a shifty guy looking to turn a quick buck and it shows. I suffered a broken back in Krabi and arranged a deal with him for a rate for two weeks. The next day this was mysteriously forgotten about and he decided to charge me extra for...

Like everywhere in Thailand sometimes the rooms aren't like the pictures, but this place is clean, welcoming and really cheap. They have scooters for rent and are helpful with tours and tickets etc. nice breakfast at the attached eatery . What more can you ask. Never seen any bugs/geckos in our room and it's secure. Great selection of bars and...

Stayed here for two nights, which was probably long enough. We had room 101 which was in the basement, at the front. The room had a lot of street noise and was dark, as below ground level. So not the most inspiring of rooms but for the price, about 350 baht, I am not grumbling. I would however recommend you...

A friendly guesthouse in a central location close to the night market, the pier from were you can get to Railay and many restaurants. Our room was nice and clean, but a bit dark. The staff was friendly and helped us to organise our next trip.

Stayed for 3 nights in double fan room. The young guy with braces at reception was very nice & helpful. The other guy at night shift was not so much. The room is a little bit tight, as the huge wardrobe takes up a lot of space. The bathroom was an ok size. The room was ok cleanliness, but the...

We did not book in advance and spoke to a woman when we got off the bus in Krabi and arranged a room with her, one couple spoke to her, asked a few others and eventually joined us in the taxi to this place. The rooms were quite small and had a tiny little bathroom and there was no hot...

These people are no hones Thai: I booked for the Baifern Hotel, but they offered me a room with matrasses on the floor and a broken bath in the bathroom. I refused this room and they offered me a room in the P Guesthouse, her brother. This guesthouse let me pay cash and Mrs Baifern has charged my creditcard.... The...

I have visited this g.h. every year for the past 7 years. The family is not good at refurbishing broken or faded fitments but continues to provide spotlessly clean good value rooms and an unimaginably efficient travelled service. One word of warning, some rooms have very small windows and thus poor ventilation.

“Rooms at the back looked brighter and did not face onto the main road and building site opposite but if you really want a good room, I would look further down the road - there are plenty of guesthouses which all looked much nicer and were probably a similar price.”
