I had very low expectations before visiting the hotel especially after reading some reviews on Tripadvisor. However, i had really good time at @ Hotel Patong and i didnt experience almost anything negative. Room was renovated (see pictures). It is not the best but it is definitely more than what is paid. I enjoyed sleeping in my room. Comfortable, no noise. Bathroom also renovated, clean, equipped. Water pressure, hot/cold performance was good. Towels(including beach towels) are renewed daily. Housekeeping is silent, no disturbance at all. Doing their job well! Appreciated! Safety deposit box little small with 3 digits code but no problems with using it. There is a rooftop pool, i am not a pool fan but it is good if you wanna relax on a lazy day. Elevators were sufficient, fast enough. AC was sufficiently cooling the room in a couple of minutes but fan speed didnt feel changing when slider is moved. But not much noise and functioning without problems. Wifi requires login after inactivity. Also speed is disappointing sometimes, but generally it was sufficient. Reception was friendly mostly. I didnt see the gentleman who is being mentioned in the reviews. I didn't experience any issues regarding the reception. I didnt book with breakfast so i cannot comment on it, but there are numerous places where you can have breakfast no matter what your preference is. Location is good, you need to walk a while until the beach circa 10-15 mins. 5 mins to Bangla walking street and the central mall. I recommend you book a private transfer to hotel, not shared van if you can afford, it should not cost more than 700bht/vehicle.

I booked this poor hotel to stay a week but I couldn’t stay even more then 2 days. This hotel thinking about only money nothing else they can charge you for everything even for water they gave you 1 small one per day and if you want extra you need to pay for it. visitors you need to pay for them to visit you. Staff are rude they have no idea about hospitality or costumer service the only thing that they know perfectly is charging you extra. I won’t recommend this hotel at all as there’s so many hotels around.

Travelled on 24-27 June 2018. Booked direct on their hotel website. Hotel double-charged my credit card and until now still no refund! It's been more than a year already! I've always stayed here whenever I come to Patong but sadly because of this incident, it shall be the last ! Lesson learnt: Never book hotels directly on their website. Book either via agoda or any other hotel booking sites for safe transactions.

If you are looking for a dream-vacation hotel,do not stay here. However,if you need a place to sleep for 1-3 nights it's fine. I only stayed for one night but i could already tell i wouldn't handle much more. Positives: check in and check out was a breeze,no issues there. Location is nice, walking distance to everything interesting in Patong. Negatives: - balcony overlooking dirty sidestreet/dumpsters - Poorly lit room - the sink in the bathroom was loose,it worked but every time you turn on the faucet it would almost come off - breakfast not appeasing

Overall, there were a few pros/cons for this hotel. Pros: rooftop pool was lovely (one of my friend and my favourites throughout our SE Asia trip), very good price for hotel, very close to the famous/busy 'Bangla road', lots of food nearby. Cons: AC was very old and not strong which was very impactful. Furthermore, hotel only provides 1 key card - so you cannot leave the AC on when you're stepping out and it takes a while to cool the room down. Hotel staff were somewhat friendly but nothing that impressed us. Although it was still a short walk up bangla road to the beach, the hotel is located at the back end of patong beach (farther away from beach). The AC was the worst part of the hotel since it was extremely & consistently hot during our stay. Overall it was a good hotel for the price we paid, but we wouldn't go back due to the AC situation.
