THE HOTEL IS WELL LOCATED JUST OFF THE BUSY AREA, BUT 8 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH, IT CLEAN AND ROOMS ARE KEPT TIDY AND CLEANED EVERYDAY. THE COCKTAIL HOURS ARE VERY GOOD AND WELL PRICED AT THE POOL AND IN THE HOTEL LOBBY IN THE EVENINGS. POOL NEEDS TO ONLY ALLOW THIER MUSIC TO BE PLAYED WHILST GUEST ARE THERE, AND NOT ALLOW GUEST TO PLAY LOUD BLASTING MUSIC, WHICH WE ALLOWED WITH SWEARING IN THE SONGS, RACISTS REMARKS ETC, I DID ASK THE POOL BAR STAFF TO ASK THE GUEST TO TURN THAT OFF, THEY DID NOT SO WAS DISAPPOINTED BY THAT. WE LEFT THE POOL AREA. THE RUGS IN THE LOBBY AND LOBBY BAR AREA NEED TO BE WASHED, THEY ARE EXTREMELY DIRTY AND MARKED. OVERALL A GOOD STAY AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at The Grand Mercure for 6 nights in July 2021 during Phuket Sandbox. The hotel were amazing at organising the PCR tests, even coming back with me when my son had an inconclusive result and speaking Thai and helping me sort it out. We had a 1 bedroom pool villa which was more than enough space for a family of 4, we had an extra bed and there was a little sofa so we all slept very comfortably for 6 nights. There is a fridge, a mini bar that is restocked daily (chargeable but not expensive!), plenty of water and towels. I loved the huge bath and the rain shower! The pool area is fairly small but my boys had a great time jumping in and out and using up energy and the outside chair is so comfortable. The best bit was that it felt really private like our own little hideaway, so quiet and calm. The hotel pool is great, steps for little ones and not too deep. The kids club is next to the pool so the kids can go back and forth. The breakfast everyday was amazing, one of the best we have had in Thailand...the pancakes, eggs Benedict, plentiful coffee and pork bacon and sausages were a winner! Also we are at bubbles restaurant one night and the 'Jewels of Phuket' set meal was incredible - still dreaming of that yellow crab curry! Me and my husband both had a Thai massage too which was very relaxing, just by the pool and the kids club so you can leave them supervised and sneak away. The staff couldn't do enough for us organising taxis, PCRs, dinners and recommendations for beaches etc. Thank you so much Grand Mercure we were so happy to be in Patong during this time and wish you all the success for the next few months and reopening of Thailand.

Excellent accomodation. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a poolside room and was absolutely worth the extra cost. The breakfast was amazing - huge buffet selection and great quality. The hotel also has activities each day, some free and some for a small cost. Definitely worth checking out. I enjoyed the yoga class with Deeda who was a wonderful teacher and also did the Thai language class which was great.

Wonderful hotel and although close to nightlife if that’s what you like but very peaceful hotel This my second stay and welcome was really nice. All the staff offered greetings and I cannot be more grateful. Unfortunately during my stay I went to a seafood restaurant and ordered squid. I an after my return to the hotel is was very Ill with seafood poisoning! I called down to reception and they sent a doctor who took great care put me on saline drip and gave me medicine. During that day is called by receptionist to make sure I was ok and even the chambermaid knocked on my to to check up on me! No words can describe how much I appreciate the care I rece. The breakfast was amazing and my room was lovely with a bathroom almost bigger the my apartment!

The property is certainly well located and given the central location, it has decent amenities. Given the location, the property doesn't really feel like a sprawling resort. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa (probably one of the high category rooms), which was infested with mosquitoes was extremely difficult to sleep. Fumigation here is done twice a week apparently, which is not good enough. The think which perturbed us was the service quality, which is way below Thai hotel standards. Many of the staff are not very polite or helpful. For Eg., my 10 year old son wanted the Ping Pong rackets and none of the staff helped him to get one. I had to ultimately go and get the same from the spa. My wife wanted some oranges about 2 mins after the breakfast closing time, which they declined as breakfast time was over. Room cleanings were consistently delayed and had to make several calls to have the room cleaned, which should happen on its own ideally. The daily drinks vouchers, were missed in one of our rooms and provided on the last day evening so we could not use the same. I have strayed in several hotels in Thailand, which cost much lesser but are better in terms of resort feel/ infrastructure and service.

My family stayed four nights It was a pity that the room was small and there was no outlet in the bathroom But The swimming pool was spacious and breakfast was good The staff were friendly Especially the staff in the kids' room were so nice I even write reviews because of the staff It was so kind and attentive that we could eat breakfast comfortably The baby sweated while running around in the children's room I was moved by the way the staff fanned the baby while carrying a fan Deeda, Floy♥! Thank you.

This hotel is in the just off the path of the madness that is Patong. Lovely facility (if a little oddly organized) and the rear faces the mountains-preceded by a construction zone. Staff is somewhat helpful, though couldn’t be bothered to assist us in ordering a grab pickup. Breakfast was a decent selection, with fresh pressed juices and a self serve coffee maker station. Ideal for families as the real draw appears to be the pool area.

All in all a good choice for a holiday in Phuket. Central location very close to the beach and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The check in was swift and friendly with the rooms very clean. Pool area was ok, gym was ok (all little small but enough), Wi-Fi good and the breakfast good. Only negatives would be the size of the pool access rooms (too small) and the AC in the room which although it did cool the room the thermostat did not work at all
