"An Idyllic Family Resort at the heart of Patong"Patong Resort Hotel is a superb resort that occupies one of the best locations in Phuket. Set close to Patong Beach, the resort is ideally situated for an enjoyable island holiday with the whole family. Although the resort is just a few minutes walk from the beach, great shopping opportunities and Patong’s famous nightlife, guests may not even wish to leave the grounds of this fabulous property. The resort’s extensive gardens and numerous high quality facilities and attractions provide fun and excitement for all ages.

When selecting a tour to Phuket, we were looking for a hotel closer to the beach. And we accidentally came across an offer for the Patong Resort hotel. The reviews were good, and we booked a Deluxe room. The 11-night tour was not cheap, but we did not regret choosing the hotel - it is located inside between the first and second streets. .Probably, this is one of the best accommodation options in Patong - all the necessary locations are within walking distance: you go to the right, you will go out onto the second street to the Jang Ceylon shopping center, to the left you go through the arch of the Patong Tower and the beach nearby is a 5-minute walk, straight and the treasured gate to Bangla Road. At the same time, the hotel area is green, well-groomed with nice corners, there are 2 beautiful swimming pools. Beach towels are issued upon signature at the reception. The staff is friendly and well-trained, the security salutes when meeting guests. Breakfast is from 6 am to 10-30, which is very convenient, if you leave early for an excursion or don’t want to get up early. The choice of dishes is decent, everything is tasty and fresh. Our room 526 was located in the central building and was very good - large, comfortable beds, a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool, safe, refrigerator, umbrellas, slippers. bathrobes, scales, shampoo and gels. From Bangla Road, however, there is loud music until 3 o'clock in the morning, but with the balcony closed, the noise was not audible. There is air conditioning. Cleaning is done every day and is quite acceptable. I’m surprised that the hotel is positioned as 3 stars, for me it’s a strong four. Along the street leading to the beach there are massage parlors with reasonable prices starting from 200 baht and the Sokorn 49 cafe, where the food is very good and quite cozy. We always dined there.. I would gladly return to Patong Resort on my next trip.

We vacationed with our friends from November 22 to December 3. The hotel itself is probably the fifth or sixth time) The hotel is great! Spacious rooms with a great fridge that you can't open a second time immediately after opening, the door sucks like in a freezer) Excellent breakfast with a separate area for vegetarians that is separate from the main area: you need to climb the steps through the hall between coffee machines. A lot of people don't pay any attention to this slumber. There is a fitness room, in the area with treadmills there is excellent air conditioning. There are 2 large enough swimming pools, sunbeds are sufficient, there are mattresses. Towels are provided for the pool and for the sea at reception. On the path that leads to the bangla, just behind the gate to the right, if you leave the hotel, the alcohol market is lower than 7/11. Drove to Freedom Beach in a long-tailed boat that's parked on the beach in the morning. In general, they have a 500 baht taxi per person, but we bargained for 2,000 baht for six people. The beach is very pleasant: behind the fence is an area of cafes and sunbeds. If you take something from drinks or food, you can sit on sunbeds for free. We went to dinner at the dippers on the sea: you get to the beach, right and about to the Four Points Hotel. It's not close, but we really enjoyed it! There's rows of these tops, pick what you want!) Grilled salt bass 200 baht, green papaya salad 60 baht, you'll be put on a mat in the sand, put a table on low legs and you'll have dinner overlooking the sea, and you'll drink your alcohol!) There is one nuance to consider: by evening they do not have much, that is, the choice is not the same as at lunch, so it is better to arrive at 6 p.m., not later. And if everyone sells out, they'll ask you to vacate the mat and the table... But we've always had our own mat on us about it) Thailand is forever in our hearts! Such a safe and varied holiday is no longer in any country!!!)

We stayed at the hotel from May 31 to June 7. Even though the hotel has its drawbacks, we liked it. First they checked us into room 519 overlooking the second street and the wall. This room is old, there is a smell of some kind of “dust”. The room was dirty, the walls (wallpaper) were dirty and had absorbed all the old age of the hotel, the room was semi-dark even with the full light on. The double bed is simply impossibly hard, so much so that you could break your sides if you jumped on it with all your might. It was unpleasant to be in such a room, and it was simply impossible to sleep due to the sounds of the street. It’s good that in the off-season the hotel was not full and the next day they changed our room to 606 overlooking the pool. This room is fresh, clean, apparently recently renovated. True, there were two 1.5-size beds for my husband and me, but they were very soft and the bed linen was perfectly clean. We liked absolutely everything about this room! Plus on TV you could watch YouTube, etc…. The rooms in the additional building (not superior) are much better than the main building and have a more interesting view, they have something like a small garden, greenery all around, but they also cost more. We felt comfortable in our room. The cleaning was done efficiently and in a timely manner. Breakfast, of course, does not correspond to the declared 4* hotel, but you won’t go hungry. We only went for breakfast on the 1st and last day. I didn’t want to get up early for him. The location has been written about more than once; it is ideal. Everything is nearby... But still, the sea in the central part of the beach is much worse than the north of Patong. For those who are traveling primarily not for the sea, but for hanging out, the hotel can be safely recommended. But of course, if you are lucky and get a different room than we had on day 1 of our stay.

It's not the first time at the Patong Resort Hotel. The location remains incredibly convenient and the staff always very friendly. Now the wifi also works perfectly compared to a few years ago. A different discussion needs to be said for cleaning. It's not enough to change towels (sometimes they even forget one) and make the beds....the rooms must be cleaned of dust and hair!!!! Incredible to have found the tub full of sand from the previous day's shower and the toilet without toilet paper. Put some effort into it and get your deserved 5 stars... next year we will still be here.

This prop is okay the location is without any doubt excellent but rooms and policies are not okay . I ll start with checkin procedure first at the time of checkin while my booking was prepaid they still asked me to pay 2000 THB cash deposit as security when I refused i was told to connect with my tour op. so I had to deposit thb 2000. on one occasion I forgot my room key inside though they gave me another key but with a warning that at the time of checkout I have to return both otherwise a fine of 200 THB. Now rooms: Rooms are just okay still on a higher side on the price point. Breakfast: I did not like it but its my personal opinion. All I had was overcooked omelettes and fried rice . Service: Every morning at around 10 am the cleaning lady used to just barge into the room . no knocking nothing just like that .The basic courtesy was missing somewhere. The hotel is next to Patong and Bangla so expect loud music inside the room if you are staying towards the pool Thats all hope it ll help others.

Relaxed at the Patong Resort 4* and spent New Year's Eve there. We were very pleased!
First, an incredibly convenient location. Patong Beach, Jungceylon and Central shopping malls, the famous Bangla Road, and 7-Eleven store are within walking distance, where you can buy everything you need. Everything is at hand, which makes your vacation comfortable and rich.
The grounds are simply magnificent – green, well maintained, with a pleasant atmosphere for walking and relaxing. The hotel itself is decorated in the style of the 2000s, which gives it a special charm and comfort. We lived on the 5th floor of the main building – the room was spacious and had a great view.
We especially want to acknowledge the staff – incredibly friendly, friendly and attentive employees who are always ready to help.
Patong Resort was the perfect choice for New Year's celebrations. We will definitely come back here again!

We booked through RCI using our timeshare points and were allocated huge suite, complete with dining room, kitchenette, large marble bathroom and separate toilet. Our room was cleaned well and toiletries replaced daily. There were 2 pools and a beautiful restaurant with grand piano on the 8th floor, leading to a rooftop bar with great sunset views. Our breakfast wasn't included but we bought it a couple of times and it was quite good. We were right in the heart of things, steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. It was a 5-10 minute walk to Jungceylon shopping centre, or Bangla Rd, and we had a convenience store right outside. It is quite a grand old hotel and I enjoyed looking at the artwork depicting the hotel history. Recommended if you want to be in the heart of things

The hotel is in a decent location but could be improved if they unlocked the advertised back entrance to Bangla Road, which is currently not in use due to COVID restrictions. The pool is nice and big with more than enough seats around it but there is almost zero shade so be aware of that. The room I had was spacious with a very nice bed, but it smelt of mould and received almost no natural light, the only window was the balcony doors but then the balcony itself didn't allow much light in, it was necessary to put the lights on even in the middle of the afternoon.
Check in was quick but they have an archaic system of taking a deposit; cash! They insisted on THB2000, which meant I had to withdraw that amount from an atm for my holidays spends (they have an atm on the hotel grounds that charges a THB200 fee...) and then gave it back to me at the end of my stay when I no longer needed that much money so lost out again exchanging it back upon departure. I honestly cannot remember another time in the last decade I have been required to give a hotel deposit as cash!

Get your own water from market One doesn’t get more than 2 tea bags per room per day For the breakfast in the morning it’s the worst one can expect from quality, spread and service. No one is responsive to your needs. Items start running out by 9:30 so reach early to eat what they serve
The room service God Save you

This Hotel is one of the best in Patong. Stayed here over the last 17yrs+ and loved it every time. Its close to: Patong beach 5min walk Restaurants 2min wal Bangla Rd 3min walk Massage 2 min walk. The hotel has: 2 swimming pools, 3 Bars 2 restuarant both great food. Fitness Center ( above Pavirottis Restuarant). An array of accomodation from standard to luxury, high rise and garden 2 storey units. Great Breakfast Buffett, friendly staff and beautiful green garden settings. All guest rooms are well appointed and have private bathrooms and toiletries provided. The hotel lies in the middle of all the action that Patong offers, yet you dont know its there. An oasis in the middle of a busy City. Very Clean and comfortable with fantastic staff that always have a smile. Cocktails by the pool or even a lunch snack. Easy access to the swimming pools with stairs as well as ladders. Approx 40min from Phuket International Airport a taxi will cost you approx THB800. I cant fault this Hotel and will continue to stay there each time I travel to Patong. I just love it and you will too.
