ANDATEL GRANDE PATONG is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Highly unprofessional staff and supports fraudulent practices. We had booked 3 rooms for one night(check-in 2,NOV.) At checkout we asked the hotel reception before-12P.M. to send the luggage trolley. After around 15-20mins one bell-boy came roaming around without a luggage-trolley to move the luggage to reception. We had 10 pieces of luggage to move, the reception and the rooms were in two different buildings. Without a trolley it took him 3 turns to drop all the baggages to the reception. During checkout formalities@reception 1st they tried to cheat us by saying that one glass is missing in the room. we offered to accompany them back in the room & show them where the glass is kept, after which they changed the topic and started asking for 300(THAI-BHAT) as a penalty for late-checkout, on the contrary we all were on time and the checkout was only delayed on their part intentionally. After around 10 min of discussion penalty raised to 400 baht...and they started to threaten us in the name of police. The receptionist named "mei" and the manager named "champ" started shouting and tried to threat us that we will "CALL POLICE". we payed the amount, as we didn't wanted to ruin our vacation, also our parents(elderly) got scared after the whole episode. At ANDATEL GRANDE we don't see the staff trained in any form of hospitality, they don't deserve to be part of this industry. They did all this knowing we had a city tour booked that day & our pickup was waiting at the reception...they knew we were in a hurry to checkout. To sum-up its a pathetic SCAM-hotel, with no facilities, no services, with unprofessional untrained staff.…
Rooms are nice and clean ,however my cousin saw one of kitchen personal at toilet going out without washing his hands and directly went to kitchen so we did not eat anything from there it is so disgusting
I dont know who gave the hotel 4 star??????? During our 4 day stay on the 4th.fl.3days without elevator and they didnt pay attention to our protest.sheets were not replaced during this time.breakfast was very bad and poor .the room lacked slippers ,toothbrushes and toothpaste.cleanliness and brightness of the corridors were zero
This is one of the best budget hotel in central phuket with excellent hospitality. Staff were very kind, friendly and gave all the required information that we need. Patong beach is near to the Hotel and also the famous bangla market. There were two swimming pool one is near to my room and another is in the hotel . Thank you guys see you soon and thanks for everything..
I don't know who rated this property 4*. This seems to be a 2* property. No house keeping staffbavailable only one guy and one girl at reception. They even don't receive calls while you are in need. The property looks very ghostly. No power back up. We had to stay without electricity for more than 3-4 hours in mid night and had to go on 4th floor walking in the dark with the help of mobile torch. Terrible. Management is very annoying and non supporting. Though the property is at a prime location. Near to Bangla Street and beach.
This is just a regular bread and breakfast type of stay . Although breakfast quality is very poor and varieties is very limited. The location is good as it is from 10 minutes walking from Patong beach.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a current tourist who is unlucky to be residing in Andatel Grande Patong Phuket. Since we arrived we haven’t been treated well. The staff member were so rude and they told us to move our luggage by ourselves although we were so tired from the trip. The rooms were so dirty with stains on the beds and insects around the rooms. We also captured all we we had seen. The service is so poor and it reaches to point that we have to go to the reception to take what is missing in the rooms like the iron. We have complained to our touring agency to be moved to another hotel without any response. We handled the situation as we spent most of our time outside the hotel. However, today my cousin and I have been treated so rudely from the reception staff members. We came with our shopping bags and we wanted to keep them at the reception for a few minutes because we wanted to go to the nearby supermarket. We tried to tell the staff members to keep the bags at the reception but they treated us very rudely and they said that we always complained about the rooms although we never said anything about the rooms at that time. They started to shout to us and one of the staff members fingered to me (his name is Asain). I cannot accept this incident as it is known internationally that this is harassment and racism. I really hope that the hotel management take an action before we leave, and I hope that they put themselves in the guests shoes. Regards,…
I feel my self like going in a ghost house,, I didn’t see any staff except one receptionist was always hiding and playing in the mobile -Zero customer service - the housekeeping used to wake me up at 09:00 am to clean my room which is the first time for me to see housekeeping cleaning rooms so early. -swimming pool was smelly -A/C was so noisy. -the all atmosphere was not comfortable for me.
Hey iam from India,we four people stayed here 3nights. We love phuket and this Hotel.in India you cant get a good hotel at this low price. good staff and clean Rooms. Big long swimming Pool. good location too.
