Fantastic,Cracking little place wife daughter and my self stopped in family room(the room in first photo) value for money superb!!. From the manager-reception guy called Sa, he can't do enough to make your visit the best he can. Cleanliness, well as you walk past each room they all look excellent. Clean towel's, bedding, water all daily. The place it's self is one street back from main road so no noise can be heard from the terrace that I am sat at writing this. Second trip to this island and if we return this would be our place to return to. ❤️️

New, fresh, clean & with what you need. Very central location - 5 min walk from ferry and to beach. 2 min from village center with many restaurants, 7-Eleven, massage places etc. Everything cheaper there than by the beach. Extremely smooth and easy check-in/out. 2 rooms share a little veranda. Only complaint that safe too small to fit a laptop.

We really enjoyed staying at Blue Moon for its proximity to the village, beach and transport. The room was spotless and had both a kettle and fridge. The AC worked very well. Equally if not more important was the owner's hospitality at every turn -- a wonderful aspect to staying here. Blue Moon is in the town but away from obvious noise making, though occasionally you'll hear dogs barking, etc. Getting in and out of Samed was also easy as we were mainly on foot. The hotel is a short walk from the pier and several restaurants. The beach is easily accessed with 6-8 minutes. You might want to rent a scooter to get to beaches that are not in the immediate area, though we did not do this. Well priced. Good location.

The accommodation was reasonable but there was no hot water in the shower, the fridge door did not shut and the TV did not work. Rooms were comfortable, the location was good for a beautiful beach with white sand, clear water and plenty of restaurants/bars. The fire shows at night were particularly spectacular

It was a really nice stay. We have the whole house to ourselves, with 3 bedrooms, and can fit up to 7 people. The whole space is so spic and span. Each room is clean, with wide beds, clean toilets. The kitchen has everything that we need- plates, stove, wine glasses, microwave, toaster. Wifi is strong. Outside, it has a big table which we used to dine together. It has a grilling stand too so we were able to do market and prepare grilled food by ourselves. Location wise, it's so near the beach and the center of town to buy supplies and whatever we need. To sum it up, we found a perfect place for a group/family. We really enjoyed it here.

Samet is not a big island so you're never too far away from the main area so you can stay here and walk around no problem. Bed was nice room was clean, price was reasonable, would stay here again if I return to the island.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The location is good, close to bars and shops and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. The staff are helpful and speak good English and the rooms are a nice size with a nice bathroom with a good shower. There’s a fridge in the room and a kettle with teas and coffees replaced as used and two small bottles of water daily.

On the downside, there are often dogs nearby who bark through the night and the bed is hard and uncomfortable. Be sure to have plenty of mosquito repellent including a plug-in for the room as they’re plentiful and voracious! If you’re unlucky enough to have bad weather, don’t depend on the TV for entertainment unless you’re Thai. There are no English speaking channels.

Nice hotel. 5 minutes away from the pier, no need for taxi. Central enough but quiet location. 5 minutes walking distance from the beach.Lots of dinning options close by. Spacious and clean room. Staff was very helpful. Perfect choice for short stay on this island.

We stayed at the blue moon house for 2 nights and we really enjoyed everything there! So first of all the staff is very friendly, picked us up at the meeting point and offered us a very cheap price for renting motobikes. The house is very big, clean and the aircon and wifi are working perfectly. Its a perfect place to spend some time with friends, as they also provide a barbecue. If you have a motobike, you reach the closest beach within 3 minutes. The area of the house itself is quiet and nice. So i would definitely recommend this house for your stay in Koh Samet! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Located in "town" but on a back street i.e. quiet location. A/c works very well, rooms very nice and clean. The main beach close by wasn't as nice as all of the other beaches on the island, so I recommend staying here, in town and close to food options, (and 5min walking distance to boat) and hiring a bike for 250B/day and exploring.
Someone else mentioned the balconies, just to clarify the rooms next to the road have balconies, the rooms at the back don;t, to get to the rooms at the back you need to walk through the balcony of the room in front. I assume the complaint made by the other guest was due to people in the back rooms using their balcony, which seems odd, but I am sure a word to the manager would have sorted it out.
Anyway, would 100% recommend and visit again!
