Room # 503 AN Old Hotel and Rooms not well maintained. Staff look bored and not too helpful. Free Wi-Fi goes Up and Down but runs fast when working :) Parking right outside on the sea front road. View of Sea from room was Great and we were not disappointed. It IS noisy on the road between the Beach and the hotel. There is a 24/7 7/11 next door and noisy motorbikes were pulling up at 03.00am!!! Room was functional but very basic..... Remember what you paid and you will enjoy a great stay :)

Hotel is easy to find, close to the main road . We can walk to 7-11 shop just about 100 meters only. I stayed in the fifth floor is very good view, Can see the ocean from balcony of my room. Room is clean and Staff is helpful and smiled. I recommend this place is value for money.

Although this place was in a good area- right opposite the beach, the room was terrible. The shower was broken, there was no hot water, I found someone's underpants in my wardrobe and it was dirty. I was meant to stay for 5 nights but ended up cancelling and changed hotels. If you want budget, and just want a place to put your head, this might be a place to go, but not if you want to enjoy your time there.

Location is nice, true. Staff is nice (they let us check in earlier as we had a young boy sick). Except that, the rooms are old, but the most disgusting where cockroach in the elevator, and in the bathroom, 3 big cockroach were running when I entered, disgusting. The room smell bad also. The place is noisy due to an open bar playing music near by. Definitely, I will not go back there.

This was my first visit to this hotel,it is popular with Thai and international travellers and is probably the best value in the area. I booked online and paid a total of $62 for 2 nights . My room on the 4the floor was similar toothed rooms- the furniture and fittings are very old but the rooms are EXTREMELY CLEAN ,There is a restaurant but my booking did not include breakfast.there is a nice new elevator so no need to walk up the stairs. All staff have some english but the Manager and his wife are never far away if you need a fluent english speaker. I had no major problems at all -BRILLIANT WIFI -optic fibre SUPER friendly staff and good house keeping. Lots of cheap international CHEAP food joints walking distance places to eat. Lots of thais stay here and lots of families from abroad (not only sinlge men)!…

A stunning seaview from the fourth floor room and the good news is that a new lift was been installed and should be in service by end of November 2014.The room and bedding was clean at all times.There was television (no English channels), aircon,electric shower and fridge all worked.A good size double bed and balcony with great views if you get front room on the fourth floor, did not get chance to see view from third floor rooms.This hotel is in a good location, just across the road from the beach which at the time we were there was clean and clear water. Also many restaurants right opposite and a ATM almost next door, bike hire,supermarkets on the door step and a few bars just up the road 2 mins walk.I got towels from front desk every day for the beach.The General Manager Mr Napon Putpong(Neung) was very helpful, he locked my valuables in the office safe and assisted with local information and arranging taxi for transfer.My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights B&B only we did not use the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on meals,it looked well laid out. We would stay here again and although it was worth the walk up to the fourth floor,the lift will make a difference. We found all the staff very helpful and nothing was ever to much trouble.This hotel is in a nice area and worth a visit…

Stayed there several times this hotel caters for group tours (that's why all rooms are joined in balcony) so many times it can be quite full and noisy. Big buses coming in late night and leaving early morning so be prepared to hear loud noises at odd times No lift so had to walk all the way up to 4th floor with all luggage wifi is free but it is all about location, if u are lucky and get a room near wifi router then good speed otherwise terrible internet speed location is good - just across the beach but that is true for all the hotels in that area

Booked this hotel through agoda but when we arrived our rooms were double booked! The manager was apologetic and gave us the best room available but it wasn't what we paid for. They gave us complimentary breakfasts and keep apologising but I was not impressed. The hotel is in a great location - across the road is the beach and some great seafood restaurants. The beach is laid back- no Pattaya or Patong, thankfully.

Although this hotel has seen better years, It had all the necessities. When you add the panoramic view of the ocean and the super fast internet, it's hard to beat. This is a bedroom community by the beach that is very popular to Thai's and has been overlooked by many tourists. The staff were very helpful and spoke fairly good english. If you don't like stairs, I would recommend asking for a lower floor. There's a city noise ordinance, so they roll up the sidewalks around 11 pm.
