My wife and I spent a recent weekend with friends at Sam's place. It went beyond hospitality...it felt like staying at the home of an old friend. The accommodations and food were superb but isn't that the way it is when old friends come to visit. Sam makes conversation into an art form. She is warm, witty and wise. We...

We enjoyed our stay at the Captain Visger B & B. The owner is a super lady who bends over backward to make your stay a good one. Breakfasts here will be enough food for the whole day. Make sure to try the muffins. It is centrally located and a very nice place to stay. It's also very clean, which...

This is one of those feel-at-home-right-away type of B&B's. Sam is very welcoming, a creative chef, and very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant tips. It's a great, central location and there's lots to see in this amazing Thousand Islands area.

Enjoyed our three day stay at Captain Visger's. We were traveling with our daughter and had booked two rooms that we were able to open the connecting doors to have access to both...very nice in the evening to sit and relax and reflect on our day travels to the castles, hiking trails and restaurants. Made numerous trips to Ivy Lea...

Our room was terrific (had a partial view of Boldt Castle) and we made a lot of use of the second floor library. Sam is a wonderful cook and breakfasts were outstanding. She gave terrific recommendations for places to see and spots to...
