If you’re an angler and planning a trip to the Lake Ontario/St Lawrence River region there’s no better place to stay then the Bridgeview Motel. There is plenty of room to park/charge your boat, the rooms are comfortable and always clean and its central location provides easy access to every major boat launch. The owners, Michelle and Tom, treat all their guests like family and they take incredible pride in this property. I would never considered staying anywhere else if I’m visiting this region.

Hotel's Favourite
Due to last minute planning, based on the reviews on this site, I chose this motel for this past weekend. We are totally Platinum Marriott members and this was all a new experience for us. However, since the first phone conversation with Michelle, I felt confident that it would be a good new experience and it turned out to be true. Knowing that it is simply a place to sleep and shower with no extra amenities, it was all good. We felt very comfortable checking in with her and her husband Tom. We paid cash and she went over the basics. It was a great location right between Alex Bay and Clayton. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. My only suggestion is that one shelf in the bathroom would be so helpful to be able have a space to put our toiletries on. Michelle was most helpful in being diligent in getting us a room and we would certainly stay at her property again next time we are up there.

Yes I agree with having a shelf in the bathroom but being limited to space it makes it difficult most people bring a traveling toiletry bag and hang it on the door. When it comes to staying on the St. Lawrence river there’s not a better place to stay than here! This is a family owned business that truly cares about their guests and makes each and every stay the best it can possibly be. They truly treat you as one of their own! If you’re looking for a place to stay this is the cleanest place around where you don’t have to worry about messy, smelly and dirty rooms. Also, if you’re an angler with a boat I wouldn’t look anywhere else as they really provide a place for anglers to park boats during their stay. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I stayed at the Bridgeview motel for 3 nights while on a solo motorcycle trip from Northern Ontario to New York. My stay at Bridgeview was excellent. The motel is very clean, the beds are brand new and very comfortable, and the room was updated and had everything I needed. The owners are very friendly, and I felt at home as soon as I arrived. After touring the area each day, I looked forward to sitting outside my room and relaxing. The motel is conveniently located between Clayton and Alexandria Bay, which allows easy access to both towns. I enjoyed my stay so much I've booked 2 more nights in July to return with family.

My dad and I stayed for a three day fishing trip. Tom and Michelle are spectacular hosts - they treated us like family. Tom helped us fix a technical issue with the navigation system on our boat and gave us daily advice on the best fishing locations. Michelle personally ensured we were happy with the accommodations every day. Both sat around in the evenings, along with other guests, as we chatted until the late hours of the night. The location is amazing and puts you in the heart of the best smallmouth fishing I've ever experienced. The room is comfortable and very clean. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!!! Thank you!!

The bed is very comfortable, the room is very clean, nice cool room. Nice hot shower Michelle & Tom were very friendly.
There are not alot of places around Alexandria Bay except campgrounds, and if you don't want to get bit up by mosquitos or black flies, stay at this clean and quiet hotel and visit friends during the day at the campsites, lots of fishing nearby. The price is right.

I made a last minute decision to plan a fishing trip to the St Lawrence River. I found the Bridgeview Motel online, made a call and spoke with Michelle. A room was available and was welcomed to bring my boat, exterior electrical outlets are provided for charging. My room was clean, the bed was wonderful and the water was hot. Did I mention Michelle and her husband Tom are wonderful host. This was my first visit to the St Lawrence region but not my last, I found a great place to stay.

The motel is very clean. Beds were comfortable. Wonderful people Deb and Tom. They make you feel welcome and like your at home. My first time there my granddaughter and me. They were helpful with things to do, where to eat, anything you needed to know they would help you with. Definitely staying there the next time.

As other reviewers have said, the owners are friendly and accommodating. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. The floorcoverings (carpet and vinyl flooring) appeared to be new. Our room was down at the end of the units so it was nice and quiet as well. The room wasn't very large so it took a bit of planning and jockeying of suitcases, etc. but not a huge deal. The wifi signal was weak or non-existent but it didn't matter as phones worked fine for internet. I did not mention this to the owners so for us it was no big deal at all. We went there on a recommendation from family and were pleased overall. I will recommend the Bridgeview as a clean, friendly, and conveniently located motel between Clayton and Alex Bay.

Bridgeview Motel is between Alexandria Bay and Clayton, NY which has many unique shops, boat tours, and river walks. There are many things to do for young and old. Bridgeview Motel is a nice little place to stay. The owners make you feel very welcome and appreciate your patronage. They are very helpful and guide you to many local restaurants, vineyards, and local events. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Value for your money.
