I moved from a nearby hotel to this one during my stay. The difference was immense! The service here is excellent and my room appeared newly refurbished with clean beds. The facilities were very good as was the buffet for breakfast and lunch. Being only rated a 3 star I honestly felt that I was in a 4 star hotel...

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Ramada Plaza and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our room was comfortable with balcony overlooking the pool, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer and the most comfortable pillows we have ever had in an hotel! The room was very clean although there was a patch of worn grouting and mould in the corner...

There's a string of large hotels in Gammarth, half an hour north of Tunis city centre. The location is good if you just have a few days, want to do day trips to Tunis, Carthage, and Sidi Bou Said and also want to be by the beach. You need a taxi for any of the visits but they are cheap...

We arrived after a long coach journey from Tozeur, passing at the end through the awful Tunis industrial and port area, and were not too impressed. Location is near a long sandy beach, which seemed nice, but be warned there is NOWHERE else to walk. Grounds are OK but not well designed or planted. The hotel is 25 km from...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days at the end of a rewarding and hectic tour of Tunisia. Although this is a large hotel with an imposing entrance hall and reception area I found all the staff friendly and helpful. The spacious restaurant boasted an extensive buffet menu for all meals, with both European and local cuisine, and even...

I took a quick break here at the weekend while staying at a basic hotel in the centre of Tunis and thought it excellent value and very relaxing. For a buffet service, dinner was really quite good, particularly some nicely-cooked and seasoned lamb which was moist and fresh, nicely-done potato croquettes and cheese crepes. Not much in the way of...

Efficiently dealt with on arrival; room not fully cleaned - pity - did it myself. Otherwise, room very nice and comfortable - lashings of hot water and plenty of towels. Balcony overlooking beautiful pool area and sea. Hotel less than half full so very quiet. Woken at 0140 to 0330 by clumping feet in room overhead - marble floors and...

A lot of people have commented on the service, well a tip would be, learn a little French or better yet a couple of words of Arabic and you'll be spoilt rotten. After travelling a fair amount, its amazing the reaction you get, you make a little effort and they will make a big effort, also, tip, a few Dinars...

I do not recommend this hotel! I stayed there for six nights for work and was told that it was a "fun beach resort." Ummm, no, it wasn't. First, it's about 30 minutes away from downtown Tunis and the old city. It's only accessible via taxi or private vehicle. Luckily, taxis are super cheap in Tunisia so you won't pay...
