Very nice place and well located. I recommend especially for the quality of the food of the restaurants on site and for the impeccable services. all the staff are attentive and friendly. We were accompanied on all of our needs and questions. Everything is there. We will definitely go back there.
We visited Tunis for Eid AlFitr holiday for a week with my family and celebrate in a muslim country ! The welcome to the hotel by Mr Massinisa was great and the check-in was smooth by the front desk! Our hotel room was lovely and we enjoyed very much the breakfast, the walking path to the beach and we loved the hotel beautiful entrance and the lobby! However, we were not aware the outdoor pool was under construction, so half of the outdoor area was closed. During day 3, we had our breakfast at 8am as usual and we decided to try out the indoor pool at 9am when no one was there, and then comes the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT when we were told that my wife is not allowed in the pool wearing the Hijab swimwear due to the hotel policy of “No Hijab” in indoor or outdoor pool - Shocking, this is totally UNACCEPTABLE and SHAMEFUL to discriminate against muslim womens in a majority muslim country! Al HamdouliAllah, my wife and I were very fortunate to travel to many places around the world and we never ever had this issue in the past, so we decided NOT to let this go and we escalated it directly to the management. Mr Nizar handled the situation very well, he was professional and listened to our concerned carefully, then he tried his best to help and offered us a full hour daily in the indoor-pool to ourselves only after-hours, which was a nice gesture by them to remedy the situation so we can continue enjoy our holdiay in Tunis! Also, Mrs Souad, the hotel AGM, followed up by phone a day after to speak with my wife and came to meet us in person when were leaving at the check-out which was kind of her! During the day when the situation took place, I was planned to give it a 0* if it was possible because of the issue we had but then Mr Nizar / Mrs Souad managed to remedy the situation and offered us alternative but after the check-out when I reflect back, most the hotel staff were really nice and hard working, and made us feel at home. The breakfast area team, the lobby team and Mr Massinisa, the front gate, the beach area and Miss Feryal at the kids club, which could be 5* but since the backward policy of the hotel owners of “No Hijab” in the pool policy to exist, then 4* would be fair to the staff only!…
We were so happy to book at this hotel for Eid as we were really excited to explore Tunis with our two kids and especially enjoy the atmosphere & history (AND FOOD) as we are originally Algerian and therefore felt like we were at home. The hotel is absolutely breathtaking, it takes you back to the 7th century, and gives you a taste of how it must’ve felt to live during umayyad caliphate. It overlooks a beautiful beach and really makes you feel you’re in a castle. The staff and service are probably one of the most amazing people at this hotel and were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately the government has implemented a policy to not allow burkinis at the indoor pool (as the outdoor pool is currently undergoing renovation). It’s an absolute shame I of course because I’m well travelled and I’ve never ever ever had to deal with something like this. So you can imagine we were really upset to learn this but the staff was extremely kind and received our disapproval with great attentiveness and Mr. Nizzar gave us 1 hour at the pool in the evening just for our family. We were ever so grateful for such a kind gesture and we hope that they will continue to offer Muslim women who wear hijab an opportunity to swim as the pool is really amazing. Burkinis are allowed at the beach anytime for Muslim families to know before booking. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with multiple options and everything is fresh, including fresh juices. The beach is incredible , they also have camel and horse riding options available. The rooms are a very good size and the bathrooms allow more than enough space for a family with two kids, and the location is spectacular. It puts you about 10 min outside of downtown Marsa, which we truly enjoyed going down to every day. The staff here is very kind, & a special shout out to Feriel who oversees the kids club, such a beautiful & lovely soul inside & out. My son really enjoyed going there everyday. They have an outdoor playground and also a trampoline for the kids. Lastly, many thanks again to Mr. Nizzar and Ms. Souad who went above and beyond to meet and exceed expectations in handling guest complaints. We definitely look forward to returning soon.…
