Unfortunately, the property was sold and they have closed. It was a great place! Small, quaint, relaxing, quiet and friendly. The food was included and was amazing! All 3 meals! Our last trip here was in Oct 2015, we brought my parents who were visiting from the US. They loved it also! We have stayed here numerous times, always bringing... More

It is profoundly to be hoped that tourists will soon feel confident to return to Tunisia, as tourism is the country's lifeblood. My wife and I returned last weekend from an idyllic 11 night break at Dar Sidi in Rejiche, roughly 10 minutes drive from Mahdia, a town that has largely escaped the ravages of mass tourism. The establishment consists... More

My husband, our then 3-month old baby daughter and I had the most relaxing of holidays thanks to Dar Sidi and it's wonderful manager M. Mansour. We loved that the hotel was a smallish one, with that lovely boutique feel, all in blue and white with bougainvilla spreading over the walls. The kitchen turned out wonderful meals at a great... Far from the crowded noisy touristy hotels, the residence is a place for a real vacation retreat! Food was excellent! All is fresh and home made; fresh fish caught from the nearby sea , fresh and organic variety of salads, fruits etc... Bring your reading books, relax and enjoy the sound of the waves! Mr Mansour the manager was very... More

Beautifully styled and situated, small hotel. Right on deserted sandy beach near Mahdia. Mr Mansour and his team work very hard to ensure guests have all that they need and a little extra! Small but very pretty pool is surrounded by umbrellas to retreat to from the fierce sun. Food has been pretty amazing - breakfast - freshly made doughnuts,... More

My husband and I have been living in Tunisia for 2 1/2 years. We found Residence Dar Sidi by using TripAdvisor and it was a wonderful find. We have been at least five times and are never disappointed. We just got back day before yesterday (April 2014). We were there with my cousin, her husband and two daughters. It was... More

We stayed in DAR SIDI during August 2013. I was in charge of the arrangements and did choose the hotel. We rented 7 rooms out of 10 available and the place was totally unkown to us. Before reaching there and actually since i made the reservations, i received tons and tons of criticism from family and friends accompanying us simply... More

When I saw the photos and the reviews for this inn, I had to make a reservation! I was not disappointed. The residence is everything folks described: lovely, quiet, impeccable taste, homey, simple with the necessary amenities. This felt like the real Tunisia, as opposed to the big fancy hotels that are soul-less. Our host Mr. Mansour took care of... More

About 4km from Mahdia, Dar Sidi is collection of simple, stylish rooms in whitewashed bungalows clustered round a lovely courtyard and small pool. A gate at the end of the garden leads to a deserted white sandy beach - warm enough to swim in late October. But the real highlight is the food - by far the best we had... More

We had planned a trip to see one of the classical music concerts at El Jem this summer, and decided to stay the night in Mahdia so that we could also enjoy a weekend by the sea. While not necessarily easy to find and in the midst of a fairly populated peripheral quarter of Mahdia, Once we entered Dar Sidi... More
