I traveled here in 2012 but never published my review. Back then this hotel had 4* review on trip adviser I can see it has fallen accordingly and justifiably. The room proved for two people was extremely small, barely room for a case at the end of a bed. The air conditioning was payable at reception and this was quite... More

we've stayed here for the seventh time in september 2014. as usual we had a nice breakfast and the dinner ( on demand) was very nice too. yes the rooms are small and the swimming pool is not olympic. but the atmosphere on the patio is lovely. wifi is free now. despite people complaining on tripadvisor, we still love this... I booked a single room and was actually given a twin. This was the only good thing about the hotel. My room was FILTHY (cotton buds, used tissues left in drawers, holes in the wall above the wardrobe, old packets of sweets left under the bed), and my bed wasn't made in a week. The curtains do not cover the... More

Instead of booking a characterless mega hotel by the seaside, we thought we picked this small family run hotel in the old vibrant quarter of Kaleici near tourist attractions hoping for a more personal service but we were wrong because although it had mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, we gave it the benefit of the doubt but were sadly disappointed. Both... More

Clean comfortable friendly hotel. Normal Turkish breakfast buffet style, eat as much as you like. Photo of pool on sitev misleading - small, can onlybe described as a dip pool. Not a beach holiday! Nearest accessible by good cheap easy to use byse service - 40 minute ride for 60p!

Feels like home, good location, friendly staff, we were only bed and breakfast, but breakfast was decent, ate till I was full, and normally I don't have a big breakfast. The beds were a little squeaky, but hey ho, once you're in dreamland, nothing matters.

This year we were for the SIXTH time in the 'Karyatit’. We had a superior room in the main building on the ground floor. There was also a sofabed. In the room we had 2 single beds next to each other. A large en suite bathroom with bathtub/shower, toilet and sink. There is a very good and quiet aircon. The... More

I went there for 7 nights, it was a bit difficult to find it but this wasn't the problem. When we got there we had to pay for the AC, 2 euros per night, I paied 14 euros from a note of 20 and I got 12 TL back (poor exchange rate). The room was quite small, broken sheets with... More

First of all, it's a small family run hotel, so don't be expecting a Ritz style service. the one and only issue I have had with this hotel is that upon arrival on our first day of check-in, we were given 1 double superior room with a balcony view and 3 large windows as per our request which we had... The rooms are old and extremely small, there is no light (windows are very small). They charge you EXTRA for everything - air conditioning, wifi etc. And they don't have a word about it anywhere in the booking pages or the hotel web page! When we booked our room a couple of months ago, it said air conditioning was included,... More
