We felt at home at Candles. There's just a handful of rooms and has a boutique feel to it. The family who run the hotel will go out of their way to help you. The hotel is hidden away in the corner of the old town. It makes it a little tricky to find (the locals will point you in...

i stayed there for three nights and my girlfriend and I miss that place as we travel around turkey. The best thing there was the food. We enjoyed every meal of breakfast and the dinner there was amazing. especially Serap was such a nice lady and made our staying memorable.

Very difficult to find. We asked a local guy to get us there. Great location in the hart of the Old town by the Hadrian's Wall for the cheap price. We took a tram and then a 600 bus to get back to the airport what cost us 6TRL p/p. Nice breakfast, cheese omlet and plenty of Turkish tea. The...

Stayed at candles for one night on a stop over. Had picked candles based on previous reviews, as we wanted a cheap & cheerful room. Firstly the Candles is a nightmare to find, even with satnav! The streets are very narrow & on a one way system. When we finally found the guesthouse it did look pretty from the street,...

I spent 2 nights at the Candles House in May, and I thought it charming and well-located. It is a very small B&B – I believe it has only 4 guest rooms – just steps from Hadrian’s Gate in a quiet section of Antalya’s old town, or Kaleici – a perfect area from which to explore Antalya and the surrounding...

Great place to stay if you're on a budget or not. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see Antalya's old town. It's a 50 metre walk to Hadrian's gate and another 100m to the first shops in town. You're in the centre of it all and the reception is great, everyone is very friendly.

This small guesthouse (only 4 rooms) is centrally located in the "old town" which is within the castle walls. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The hotel was a bit of a challenge to find in the maze of tiny streets. The staff made breakfast about 30 minutes earlier than normal to accommodate our early departure time...

I stumbled on this place almost by accident and I am glad that I did. The service and rooms are excellent, its very clean and secure with hospitable staff and in a great location close to Hadrian's gate and the tramway and also a few minutes walk to the centre of the Old Town and the harbour. And it is...

“Very clean. The staff don't speak English (like the majority of people in Turkey) but they have some translator application thanks to which we could communicate. RECOMMEDED :-)”

“We had a corner room which looked out to the streets below but cannot comment upon other rooms. Not viewed. There is a pub nearby which had live music some evenings but this did not detract from our stay.”
