We booked this hotel for a cheap week away but don't think I would return. The top 3 negatives are: *Cleanliness is poor *Staff (apart from behind the pool bar) are so miserable and their English is non existent *The steepest hill in the world is right outside the hotel The hotel is very basic which is what we expected, but the shower, shower curtain and bath could do with a flipping good clean. The young boy behind reception needs to go on a basic customer service skills course plus he needs to learn a bit of English. We waited 3 days for 2 spare pillows as he has no idea what you are saying. The older lady who checked us in at midnight was also really miserable. Was not made to feel welcome at all in this hotel, nobody said hello the whole time we where there or even smiled at us. Step out of the hotel however and it's a different story, the people in the restaurants and bars are really lovely. Kusadasi is a great place. We went to the beach every day and ate out in some fabulous restaurants (mostly kiwi's) so cheap to eat out 😎

1st time in this area, if you have mobility problems look for another hotel as this is very very hilly. The hotel is OK, pool area nice and comfy, rooms basic & cleanish, have to put something on your feet when getting out of the shower as the floor was not mopped in the whole 10days, the cleaning in the rooms is not the best!! View from room is amazing ask for 701 or 702. Lift to each floor, hairdryer in room, food very cheap, cooking facilities are basic, 2 rings, kettle, no toaster. £2 in a taxi to main centre for shopping to walk it will take about 45min on a very very busy main road. Beach cam get very busy especially on a Sunday with locals, £2 to hire sunbeds on Beach, best place to eat is somewhere else on ladies beach it is amazing. At the hotel you can set up a bar bill and pay end of holiday which is good. All in all not a bad hotel, not spotless but not filthy, good enough for the price. Just remember it is very very hilly.

Just back from a week at Tuntas and overall we had a good time. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble to them. Apartments are a bit tired but are clean and towels changed every few days. The lighting in the apartments isn’t good in the evening when trying to get ready for a night out. WiFi only works in the lobby and sometimes by the pool but that didn’t really bother us. Ask for a room with a sea view as due to other inconsiderate holiday makers I had to move room from a pool view to a room at the back to avoid the drunken screaming and fights at 4am! Food is cheap and a good menu to choose from. Never had a bad meal. There is a shop onsite for essentials that opens to 5pm each day and a migros at ladies beach were we stocked up too. The mosque is beside the pool and there is a call to prayer about 5 times a day. I enjoyed listening to it but just to make you aware it is loud. Ladies beach is a 5 minute walk away. We walked down the famous hill beside the apartments but in the heat couldn’t walk back up but there were plenty of taxis. All in all a we had a great time. Just a few things to consider that would have made it better.

Once again i find myself asking what people find to whinge about regarding places such as Tuntas Family Suites. Me and my family have just returned from a 2 week, fabulous stay and we can genuinely say again, that we have had a fabulous holiday, thanks mostly to the wonderful, kind management and staff here. Reception/Check-In. Holiday Gems almost ruined our holiday from the outset. Despite my emailing and calling on 4 occasions, that I am a wheelchair bound amputee, and would please like a ground floor room, they did not communicate this to the hotel (even though they had promised me that they had). Consequently upon check in (at 2300 hours) we found ourselves on the 6th floor. However, the next morning the wonderful receptionist and her manager (Mehmet) were mortified and immediately moved our room. They could not have been kinder. Rooms. Quite basic but clean and a little in need of modernisation but nothing to complain about. In 14 days we had clean towels nearly every day and the room was cleaned every other day. We decided to buy air con but in reality its not expensive at all (£50) for 2 weeks). One cockroach spotted in 14 days... and let's not forget, it is sub-tropical here so its their environment. Pool Area. Excellent, even with my one leg I had no issues. Spotlessly clean, sunbeds always available. Music not too loud. Entertainment. Due to COVID there was no entertainment on offer but we knew about this beforehand so it was no issue for us. Our two children still had a great time. Similarly, there was no table tennis, pool or volleyball, but hey, this virus has changed all of our lives. Food. The pool snacks are really reasonable (£2-3 for lunch) and the evening, main menu is excellent too, if you don't fancy a walk down to the beach. Staff. Wonderful, kind and loving people. Everyone from the cleaners to the pool guy to the bar staff are kind human beings. But this only comes from the leadership at the top. The manager (Mehmet) is a true gentleman. The man who looks after the bar and restaurant area (Hammed) is a special person, for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is a scheme whereby if you sign up you can 'charge' your drinks and food to the room and each time you spend 400 TL, receive a 10% discount. The Monster Hill......I'd read with dread about the hill leading down to Ladies' Beach, and it is a challenge without a doubt. I'm in a wheelchair so going down was even a little scary.....however, it literally costs £2-2.50 for a taxi back to the hotel so there is absolutely no need to kill yourself trying to climb back up after a meal and a few drinks lol So to summarise, 2/3 star rooms, 3 star pool etc, 4 star food and 5 star plus for the staff. Please feel free to message me if you would like any clarification on any points. Thank you for reading.
