Hotel is in the center of the city. Port, restaurants bars and cafe's are so close. Otel has its own cafe also. Rooms are reasonably acceptable But bathrooms need renovation, and infrastructure of Tv must be updated.

We had stayed at the Artur Hotel in May 2015 for a couple of days. The experience was so good. Right from the initial booking stage to check out was so smooth and easy, that we came back relaxed and happy. The staff are kind, helpful right from Ulas, Ecevit, Ufuk were are so gracious and helpful. The room was...

The Artur is situated on the main road through Cannakale just up from the Ferry Terminal where you can cross to Eceabat and the Gallipoli Peninsula for around £8 for two people and a car. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful. We were a little concerned when our car was driven away to the 'free parking nearby' but...

Stayed at the Artur whilst visiting the Gallipoli Battlefields. In that respect it's not ideal as you have to get the ferry over from Eceabat (takes about half an hour, approx £8.50) but Cannakale a place worth visiting in its own right and quite different from Eceabat in respect of accommodation and places to eat or drink. The hotel itself...

Obviously the previous reviewers got the good rooms. My mother and I didn't. Initially we were given a very small room at the back of the hotel without a min-bar and a crappybathroom with a shower recess that needed a stepladder to get in it. Totally unsuitable for an 89 year old woman with mobility issues and needing to store...

Spent 2 nights here, a nice hotel right in the middle of things on the main boulevard leading to the ferry port just a stone’s throw away. Comfortable beds, unobtrusive and helpful staff. Turkish breakfast, though there were 2 cereal choices. Best scrambled eggs. Had to find way to the back of hotel with the car to unload (just keep...

This clean, modern hotel is close to the ferries and just across the street from Hassle Free Tours (for Troy and Galipoli tours). Our twin room was a delight - very spacious and with all the amenities including a desk and sofa chair. Breakfast was an extensive buffet and included some hot items - delicious! The staff were friendly but...

Serves its purpose well, especially location as the 'Hassle Free' tour office is across the road as are the coach companies and ferries. Restaurants galore and the old city. Don't expect pristine/luxury, but it is good value, particularly if you book ahead via Booking.com, etc.

We needed a hotel in Canakkale as a base for trips to area sites like Troy. Based on other trip advisor reviews we selected Artur Hotel. We were delighted with our time here. It is an attractive, clean, centrally located hotel along one of the main boulevards in Canakkale close to the waterfront. The hotel staff are very helpful. They...
