We were a group of 5 people and the room is big enough for all of us. The cave hotel was really nice with a charming terrace and garden in front of our room. Numan was a big help for us, he gave us plenty of advise to visit the area. We highly recommend Saksagan hotel.

This was a fantastic little place to stay, centrally located and with the most attentive staff I have ever encountered. Numan truly makes it his life's objective to ensure you have everything you need and want while you are staying in his hotel. The cave rooms are clean with hot showers. We spent our Easter Holiday in Goreme, Cappadocia. We stayed in a family suite at the Saksagan Cave Hotel. Booking was easy thanks to the hotel manager, Numan, who was also very helpful with the airport shuttle from Nevsehir. Our room was cozy and tidy, we got new towels every day, and we returned to a clean room every evening....

The staff ere never sleep and bend over backwards to make your stay incredible. The rooms are quaint and decorated with Turkish rugs. Remember that this hotel is a cave so the door frames in the rooms are sometimes short. Watch your head. The beds were very comfortable! The bedding was so heavy and plush! Breakfast is included and its...

Staying in cave hotel Saksagan is quite convenient. From the hotel, just 3 min walk to the bus station, 20 min walk to the open museum and there are several good balloon companies nearby. In front of the hotel, there is a good Turkish restaurant with fine atmosphere. We stayed in a cave room, even the room is a little...

We enjoyed our stay at the Cave Hotel Saksagan. It was our second trip to Goreme and the manager did a nice job of recommending great "off the beaten path" side trips for us. We enjoyed the hotel, the beds were firm and comfortable and the view in the morning was amazing. We had a big drive ahead of us...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cave Hotel SAKSAGAN is an old cave Cappadocian house turned into an inn in 1983 and restorated in 2002. At the moment it is a small boutique hotel with 12 en-suite rooms that offer you history, nature and culture altogether and is ready to become your own home in Göreme. Rooms are located within fairy-chimneys and carved into rocks. All the rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated in the Ottoman Style by owner Osman Atak. “Although it wasn’t easy to work in the fairy-chimneys, because they are very tough, we achieved to set up the rooms and bathrooms into the fairy-chimneys with the help of modern devices” says Mr. Osman. Cave Hotel SAKSAGAN has a wonderful garden with the smells of hundreds of different flowers. The hotel is also known as “Garden of Piraye Hanım” by Turkish people after taking part in the common film series “Asmali Konak”. Breakfast in Cave Hotel SAKSAGAN is served either on the terrace, with its magical Göreme view, or in the garden accompanied with birds in songs. Special dinner parties or BBQ can be arranged on request. The hotel has 24 hours reception and provides hospitality at its best. ... more   less
