There are an overwhelming number of choices when staying in Goreme or the neighboring towns. But, you can trust these reviews. The hotel was charming, well-kept, and well-appointed. The employees were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The location was great for walking around and as a home base for activities. The staff helped us plan our excursions and kindly helped us with laundry! The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic if you care about that sort of thing. The breakfast was stand out among other places we stayed in Turkey and the views were spectacular. An all around great choice for a trip to Cappodocia.
Easily the best hotel I've stayed in, Gökhan at reception was great, can't praise him high enough. he gave us lots of great advice and offered us lots of tours and deals. The staff are all really welcoming and go beyond their job to make you feel at home and have everything you need. Our room was quite big compared to others we'd seen in the area and the breakfast on the terrace was incredible. The terrace is also a great spot to watch the balloons in the mornings. Overall I loved this hotel, it's staff and our 3 night stay and can't wait to go back.
Not much to say more than we rarely found such kindness, honest and professionalism. For us one of the best welcome we got worldwide. Gurkan,Julia and Ahmad are very nice. And we are very frequent travelers we much recommend this family hotel in Goreme. The room is big,the shower is nice..will definitely stay in this hotel again if we go to Cappadocia.
On September 21, 2022, my husband and I arrived at the Aydinli Cave Hotel for a three-night stay. We arrived quite late and the staff welcomed us and quickly got us settled into our room. The owner spoke with my husband and immediately made arrangements for a two-day private tour, and a hot-air balloon ride, and provided suggestions for sights to take in while we were in Cappadocia. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and what a relief to sleep on an excellent mattress; so appreciated after such a lengthy trip. The first morning we slept late and were shocked when we received a call from the breakfast buffet staff to ensure we would not miss our first meal at the hotel. What a delightful meal! Everything was fresh, plentiful, homemade, and delicious. Although we arrived just minutes before the buffet was too close we were not rushed and in fact were made to feel welcome, and catered to with such kindness. We felt very welcome and reveled in the beautiful views from our patio table. How special to wake up to a delicious buffet each morning Perhaps the most special memory I have of this trip occurred at our final breakfast. When I asked our waiter if we could possibly buy some of the delicious cookies they served in their buffet, he left to speak with the owner. He returned to tell us that the baker was making us an entire batch to take with us. Our waiter arrived at our door with a container of these wonderful cookies shortly before we left. I highly recommend this hotel. Their special care for their clients is unlike anything ever experienced. We will be returning to Cappadocia and when we do we will be staying at Aydinli. Cave Hotel.…
The location is perfect for hikes, sunrise, sunset view. the staffs were exceptional. Love the breakfast with so many choices, and the staffs at the breakfast always tried to explain, suggest some nice foods. My room was super clean, spacy and comfortable. very classic designed of my room as well as the hotel. Great rooftop to watch balloons in the morning. room cleaned and changed towels everyday. People was super nice. Thanks Hamid for 'bread, cheese and honey' treat in breakfast, you have to ask Hamid to get you some to try. The restaurant in the hotel is very good food, great service. Very nice people served in the restaurant.
What a great experience at the Aydinli Cave Hotel. They answered my numerous questions promptly addressing my concerns as a rusty solo female traveler who hadn't traveled for 3 years due to the Covid pandemic. Huiya at check-in was so helpful and friendly as was the entire staff. My room was beautifully decorated and spacious (Room 5) and has a great view of the town from my terrace, the restauant is 1 flight of steps up. It's a lot of steps but the stairs are well lit at night and the staff takes care of the luggage for you. I can't thank Huiya enough for taking me to the Open Air Museum so I could get oriented walking back to the hotel afterwards. It's a 15-minute walk, some uphills. WiFi was spotty, sometimes it worked great and sometimes it just crawled but you are in the middle of nowhere so at least wiFi is available. Breakfast is good and has a wide selection, you can have omelette cooked to order by the nice lady chef Hatice. The wait staff (same ones who work at reception) were just lovely and friendly. They arranged shared airport shuttle transfer to and from hotel, $10 USD. My flight to Kayseri Airport was at 4 am so I needed a shuttle @1 am. 2 local travel agencies I contacted stated that their shuttles end at midnight and my only option was private transfer at $100 USD. Adylinli Cave Hotel arranged it for $10 USD, the shuttle picked up one couple later so there were 3 passengers going to Kayseri Airport which took 45 minutes, the wiFi worked in the shared shuttle too and it was amazingly fast (wiFi didn't work in the shared shuttle from Kayseri Airport to the hotel, guess it depends on the shuttle van). My hot air balloon ride arranged by the hotel was the highlight of my 13-day trip to Turkey. It was just a breathtakingly beautiful experience. I also did the "Green Tour" booked via the hotel. One slight disappointment was the hamman and massage, compared to the same experience I had in Amman, Jordan 3 years ago and Istanbul last week. I didn't get a good scrubbing, the massage was so so (compared to massages in the USA, Thailand, Cusco (Peru), Jordan and Istanbul. However, it did help with my jetlag. Overall Aydinli Cave Hotel is truly wonderful. Highly recommended for a worry free vacation to Cappadocia. Special thanks to Cokhan, Ahmed, Hamid, Huiya , Hatice, Cem and the entire staff! Cem is fortunate to have such a great team.…
Its situated at a beautiful location. Hosts are very helpful in arranging everything we need. Breakfast is amazing and is prepared by the owners themselves. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Truly added to our wonderful experience in Cappadocia.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Aydinali Cave Hotel!! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and son who made us feel part of the family and right at home. Their entire staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic and well located to watch the hot air balloons, sunrise and sunset plus it was located close to the breakfast area. My wife enjoyed a wonderful Turkish bath and massage. We’ll never forget our stay and look forward to coming back and staying here again.
I seldom write reviews, but since I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much, I think that it’s proper to write one this time. The accommodations were very good. The staff very friendly and helpful. The only way that I can describe my stay is: Excellent.
We really enjoyed our stay at Aydinli Cave Hotel. The front desk person was very friendly, helped us with finding the time we would be picked up for our balloon flight, gave us tips on where to eat and answered any random questions we had. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large with counter space. I would suggest taking a flashlight with you. The room can be dark at night. The breakfast had many choices and it was nice to sit outside to eat. The walk into town wasn't bad; even going back up to the hotel.
