Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is absolutely fabulous. During pandemic times with it being a boutique with only about 25 rooms was perfect for us. It is situated in a quiet but very easily accessible part of Goreme. So many delicious restaurants 5-10 mins walking (Soffeys, Organic Kitchen, Inci Restaurant). Hotel staff is very accommodating, friendly and always available for anything needed, they helped arrange a few things for us including a taxi to see the balloons as well as a great Jeep tour. We also extended our stay after we arrived because we liked it so much and they were accommodating in helping us switch rooms as it was last minute. Breakfast was delicious with the traditional Turkish offerings with some twists to change it up each day and you can of course order any egg dishes in addition which is all included. I have traveled the world as an event producer staying at very expensive hotels (that someone else typically pays for) from the US to Australia and I have to say this is the best boutique hotel I have stayed in. The cave part is soooo very cool and the patios/balconys are great for chilling out with a bottle of wine. The views from the hotel are amazing. A big plus for us was the hotel pup—he comes to welcome you as you arrive and leave and is so cute and sweet. We have been traveling for 1+ months and missed our own dog at home so it was a nice little treat!

Lunar Cappadocia was one of our all-time favorite hotels, and possibly the best-value hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We had the Queen Suite and the Superior Suite - both were gorgeous and artfully carved cave rooms. Bathrooms were luxurious - tons of marble, with large tubs. The grounds were beautiful as well (with a very friendly pug!) We’ve stayed at another cave hotel in Goreme that was much more expensive and nowhere near as nice.

We loved our stay in Lunar Cappodocia hotel this week. The rooms are lovely. All that you would expect- comfortable bed, hot showers and a cosy haven from the present cold. The breakfast spread included is brilliant. Freshly cooked eggs -we got a perfect omelette every day. A range of cheese, meats and pastries. Really fresh bread. Fruit is divine (coming from a country where it has to be imported, fresh fruit is a treat). The hotel literally cannot do enough for you and are obviously very knowledgeable. They organized hotel transfers at a great price, let us know about tours, spa, etc. they genuinely could not have been more helpful. On top of that the hotel itself is in gorgeous surroundings. The gardens are kept nicely and there is of course a terrace with excellent views of the hot air balloons. It was a perfect location for us.

This is a really wonderful place with very kind and useful staff and excellent view. There are plenty of trees and flowers inside hotel's territory. You can book fly balls and tours on reception desk. Breakfast include a lot different and very tasty dishes. We love this place!
