This is without a doubt THE BEST hotel we stayed in during our 3 month trip through Turkey. The unique cave-room atmosphere, the views, the food (breakfast is incredible) the staff - Yusuf and his office team, the dining room team and the cleaners. Everyone was more than friendly, in an authentic way. All our questions, needs and requests were answered prompltly, efficiently and professionally. We used the hotel for transportation to the airport and for a private day tour of the area which were all top notch. As a family of 5 with 3 young children we stayed in room number 8 which has 2 bedrooms - master with a queen size bed and a separate one with 3 junior beds. That was very convenient. On our checkout day it was raining and they let us stay in the room for 2 extra hours with no issues. We planned to go for a hot air balloon flight through the hotel but unfortunately weather wasn't suitable during our 5 days stay. Rates were more than fair. Thanks Kelebek! We will meet again 😀…
Stayed as a family and the hotel itself was a destination on its own - a real "wow". Very much lived up to what we were hoping for as a cave hotel in the research we did. Very helpful staff. Incredible breakfasts - really exceptional in fact ... can't say I've seen a better breakfast offering anywhere. Goreme is also a great town to be based in, and Kelebek is an excellent location to walk into the town to explore restaurants and shops. This hotel is also an amazing location for watching the balloons pass right by in the early morning. Stayed 4 nights and could have stayed longer.
My daughter and I spent three nights here and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel arranged for private tours with a van and guide who were excellent. We also enjoyed the spa and attempted to go on the hot air balloon ride which was canceled due to weather. The entire staff is excellent but I wanted to acknowledge Gokhan who took care of the front desk for his professional and helpful attitude. The restaurant was delightful too and we loved the breakfasts. You can't ask for more. We hope to return some day as this area is very special. We will remember this visit as one of our favorite spots to travel too. Turkey is such an interesting place.
Located in the upper side of Goreme, the hotel has a great view of the town, expecially by night. The room was great and the staff very friendly. They helped us to organize the balloon flight and to plan the visit of the Cappadocia sights. The breakfast was vey good and it is served in a nice terrace where you can see the balloons. I will definitely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to come back. Special thanks to Yussuf, he also speaks italian.
Beautiful place. Just lovely! The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Good breakfast spread and very well mannered and friendly staff, always eager to oblige. On some mornings, the hot air balloons came so close to the terrace, that we could wave to them. Very exciting experience.
We chose the Kelebek hotel during our trip in Cappadocia and we are so glad we did - it was the best decision ever! The rooms are spacious and so clean and the whole property gives you the experience of staying in a cave hotel but with all of the modern amenities. The staff (and hotel dogs) are AMAZING and helped us from the time we arrived late at night to the minute we checked out. The hotel has a great location to the town of Goreme and a wonderful terrace view for hot air balloon viewing. As hotel guests we also had access to the terraces at Sultan Cave Suites and Aza Cave hotel. We loved the Turkish breakfast each morning and the farm breakfast experience was such a special experience right in the middle of a valley. We felt at home and it was the perfect base to discover Cappadocia. We loved this boutique hotel and will only stay here when we come back!…
It’s an amazing hotel with even better staff. I thought no hotel can outdo Oberoi’s service but this one did. We were unexpectedly joined by our 8 people family and we threw so many last minute plan changes ( our bad) but no was not an answer. They made it happen, ALWAYS! Amazing view, Food, Room and service!
We chose Kelebek hotel during our trip to Cappadocia based on numerous great reviews from TripAdvisor. In my opinion all those great reviews are warranted. The hotel is so beautiful, the location is excellent and within walking distance to the town of Goreme. The staff are so friendly and helpful , the food is delicious. Breakfast is a wonderful array of Turkish dishes along with traditional breakfast items. Our initial room was a junior suite and I did not realize that the bathroom is down a set of stairs. We asked for a different room and they graciously upgraded us to a suite the first night and the chimney fairy room for the last 2 nights. The fairy chimney rooms are fabulous, much larger than the small junior suite room ,with a nice sitting area and a balcony. The pictures make the junior suite look much larger than it is and we are glad we switched. We had massages at the spa which were both amazing. Highly recommended. The hotel has its own travel agency and they can book any activity you would like. We booked ahead on other websites but spoke to several guests who used the hotel agency and were very happy. Wish we had used them for the Hot Air Balloon ride as the one I booked was just OK . Book this hotel and you will not be disappointed. …
In a nutshell - don’t hesitate, just book at Kelebek! Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival. The cave rooms are a treat - roomy and clean. The pool is small but the kids enjoyed it. Views are breathtaking - especially in the morning for the hot air balloons. While taking the hot air balloon is THE thing to do, the better views of the balloons is from the ground. The views of the balloons from the hotel is breathtaking. Kelebek staff also were very helpful in arranging day trips and activities, and also arranged for transfer to our next city. The breakfast has a good variety with a nice seating area. All of Goreme’s tourist area is walkable and so it is steps from the Main Street. All in all, a great cave hotel. Strongly recommend if you are heading to Cappadocia.
This hotel is perfectly located with fantastic views and an easy walk to the town. We stayed for 2 nights in the Stone Mansion which was perfect for us. It was clean and spacious with windows overlooking the garden and a balcony. The staff is very attentive and helpful in arranging bookings etc. We did a balloon flight and Red Tour - both were excellent! Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and the views outstanding. We would certainly stay here again.
