Staying at Anatolian Houses was an absolutely amazing and unique experience! The hotel rooms were all unique depending on how they were built into the cave and the rooms were clean with lovely amenities such as a large jet tub. The breakfast spread was huge, the meals available at the hotel were high quality, the waiters and waitresses were very kind and hardworking. We particular appreciated the service of Yosef (I'm probably spelling his name incorrectly). The hotel staff in the reception were incredibly helpful and accommodating with the needs of our large group and the meetings that we were able to have on the grounds. For example, we had an outdoor meeting and so they quickly worked to get the outdoor furniture set up to make it comfortable for us. We are very pleased with our time there and would go back for sure!

Cappadocia is an outstanding place on Earth and staying at this hotel made our overall experience even more enjoying.
It's a cave hotel, very original and authentic as all the rooms are carved in rock just like the dwellings you see all over the area. The interior is also amazingly decorated in that manner but with all modern amenities you expect.
We had great luck to get the best room which had a small grassed terrace with seating area and table overlooking the entire town of Goreme. I already miss that terrace with unbelievable views, sipping my coffee and watching the balloons early in the morning and having my beer at night looking at illuminated Goreme.
It's a family apartment, very spacious with both, whirlpool and shower cabin, plus TV, fridge, AC, safe deposit, bathrobe and slippers,...room daily cleaned.
Breakfast is included in the rate, served on a terrace with also great views. It's a very rich traditional Turkish breakfast with 7, 8 starters served in small pottery plates and mains you choose from the menu - delicious.
Here is the only downside of this hotel, as breakfast starts only at 8.30 AM. In Cappadocia you get up very early (around 4 AM) because of balloon flights, ATV tours,..etc and you're very hungry when you return from your tour at around 7 AM when you still have to wait hour and a half to eat.
Big plus is that Anatolia houses have both, outdoor and indoor pools. Have in mind that even in top season morning and late afternoon temp are 15-20'C (we were there mid August) which is not that suitable for a pleasant outdoor swim. Therefore, if you're looking for a hotel with a pool to cool yourself from midday heat and exploring make sure it has an indoor pool. During our 3 days stay I've never used the outdoor one, but the indoor every day along with sauna and hammam.
All the personnel is very kind and helping and they organized tours for us.
We were with the car and they have free parking by the hotel.
Highly recommended luxurious place to stay in Cappadocia.

Great location, great hotel, excellent staff and service. Wonderful cave architecture built into the hotel itself. The spa has a heated indoor pool and a sauna, and the massages were very good. Excellent breakfast. They have a wine tap featuring red and white wines that flow from a built-in cistern, very nice feature. The bedroom area has heated floors, which was nice because it was snowing for most of our stay!

Only minor drawback was that the room we had was dark (could you add some more light fixtures?). Also, the Wi-Fi was weak, an issue because of the thick rock walls and rooms that span multiple floors.

Overall, highly recommended.

The hotel itself is fine, good location and pretty. What really lets it down is the awful customer service. The staff is so rude!! They even charged my credit card without my authorisation after I left and now are not responding to my mails!!
My friend booked a hot air balloon ride with the hotel, but we had to cancel one day before. The receptionist (a lady) confirmed it was cancelled in the day but at 11pm she rang our room to insist we must go on the balloon at 5am. She must have forgotten to cancel. Anyway after a lot of screaming on the phone, she said she will charge our credit cards as a penalty. Luckily, My friends card company declined the charge. The lady also refused to show cctv footage where she confirmed our balloon ride was cancelled? She was screaming and swearing at us. The next day we checked out, with no apology from the hotel staff on the abuse we received the previous night. Where was the manager?

2 days after we checked out, the lady put a charge of 1030 liras on the credit card I had given the hotel as security for my room. This was an unauthorised payment! Now the hotel isn’t answering my mail or phone calls.

Please save your money and don’t go here!

Dear Heenay91, Could you give us information about your stay date? There is no reservation for your username in our records. Balloon tour cancellations must be notified one day before at 18.00 at night. Otherwise, Balon companies apply NOSHOW. You claim that a transaction is made with your accommodation 2 days after your departure, such a thing is not possible. Best Regards. Çağatay KARİPER

right in the heart of city of Cappadocia, as others thematical hotel, Anatolian Houses give unique types of rooms, everyroom has different shape & model, some has its own bath up for you to relax and let yourself have a memorable experience, the bed brings you to grandmother's house feeling with a beautiful embroideries beddings. As we travel during winter time, the room & bathroom floor is warmed by heater and excellent hot water shower. The breakfast is perfect with local taste. Will recommed this hotel to friends indeed.

Went to Kapadokya and stayed there for 2 nights. Had an amazing time thanks to Ozgur and team. The room was very uniquely set up with a jacuzzi at the bottom and the bed at the top which was quite fascinating. Actually chose the property cos of that and the 2 pools it had. The washroom was amazing too with 2 washbasins and a big shower cubicle with 2 shower heads. Breakfast spread was delicious too.

The hotels location was the icing on the cake. Its centrally located and very near to all the restaurants and shops. Everything was just a short walk away.

The only downside was the spotty internet connection and that Turkcell had zero signal coverage inside the room.

Otherwise a very nice hotel and will definitely be staying again.

Stayed 4 nights in Sep 2020 at this amazing hotel, which has everything (fantastic views, outdoor and indoor pool, spa, and free wine from the hotel taps!). Location couldn't have been any better; 5 minutes walk to the centre of Cappadocia and 10minutes walk to Lovers Hill to watch the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was comprehensive and served outside. Service from the staff was exceptional. A special mention to the manager Cagatay, who was attentive, friendly and took great care of us. He organised our transfers from and to Kayseri airport and 3 tours including Green Tour, horse trekking at sunset and hot air balloon ride. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Cappadocia.

We stayed for 5 days with a group and found the hotel perfect. The location is close to the city center, currency exchange, taxi parking and small shops. It’s a cave hotel and our room was both comfortable and authentic.
Breakfast was served fast and had large variety of food.
Concierge was really helpful and booked us all restaurants we wanted to visit even when it was hard to squeeze our reservation.
You can observe air balloons right from the hotel terrace or stepping out of your room.
Hotel also has swimming pool and hammam, but we never used it.
The only minus is that we had to leave special request to clean our room

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in August and it was absolutely exquisite. The hotel itself really is as stunning as it looks in the photos!!! It's nestled inbetween fairy chimneys and when you walk in it feels like you've walked into a land straight out of a fairytale. There are decorative pieces of history all around you. There's a deck to view the hot air balloons from which is perfect for photos and admiring the sunrise views. Watching the balloons hover over goreme, including the area of this hotel later on in their journey, was quite the sight when they got so close!

The swimming pool is unique in its appearance and is a nice temperature. We were able to switch between indoors and outdoors as we wished. We didn't use the massage services but we did use the Hamam and Sauna, both of them were great.

Our room was nice, with toileteries, tea drinking station and information all provided in the room. It was well cleaned and restocked.

Breakfast was included in our booking and it was very tasty. I am Turkish so I'm used to an elaborate breakfast, but this was definitely of outstanding quality with lots of variety. The coffee was freshly brewed too which is something you don't get in many places.

We were out for dinner so we didn't try the evening restaurant, apart from dessert. It was very tasty though, and I'm hoping I'll be back in the future and can try the dinner next time. When we were having dessert the person who I assume is the restaurant manager was very chatty and offered us complimentary local wine, which again was of very high quality. Speaking of wine - there's a wine tap in the garden which you can drink from between 2pm and 6pm - brilliant!!!!

The most important thing that made our experience with this hotel so memorable was the staff. I have worked as a hotel recepionist myself and I was blown away by the amazing service given by every single member of staff here. They knew everythig about the local area and how to navigate tours. They booked our tour and taxis for us too! I would especially like to thank Aysu, Cagatay and Ozgur who were always willing to go above and beyond to help us. They were so patient and truly made our stay in Cappadocia so much more special!

We had a great time at this hotel, and really enjoyed having a jacuzzi in the room. The breakfast is amazing and the hotel is a few minutes walking distance from all the tour agencies and restaurants in the Goreme city centre.
We also had a 25-minute massage/hammam experience and it was good. You can use their pools, sauna and steaming room for free.
Initially there was a slight issue but this was resolved by the person at reception. I recommend asking for a specific room in advance not to be disappointed. I recommend the deluxe rooms with a jacuzzi!

Unfortunately, personally, I don’t know any other way. This is a common problem with most of the places. Try Local Cave House. Good luck.. customer service was the biggest issue for us on our entire trip in Turkey.
