We can't say enough about this hotel. The pictures showing the amazing views from their world-famous balcony are just the start. The onsight restaurant was delicious. The rooms are stunning. But the staff is what made this stay so special. We arrived at 1 am, and were mortified to find out that our travel booking agency had inexplicably canceled our reservation without telling us. We no longer had a room. While I knew this was going to take hours on the phone to rectify, the hotel manager didn't hesitate to put us up in their last available room... the most luxurious and expensive suite. Two days later, our agency finally paid for my original room but refused to pay the difference in price of the more expensive suite. It didn't matter to Sultan Cave Suites. They let us stay and did not charge us the difference. That is the kind of customer service that is so rare these days. Our stay in Cappadocia was magical, and we will certainly be back to stay here again someday! Thank you again, and hopefully you got that box of baklava we left you! - Matt and Claudia

Hotel's Favourite
We have booked this trip since January 2020, but because of pandemic we postpone the trip, so we move to February 2021 and hotel still give as the travel credit to use. Lovely staff and helpful. Since we arrive until we depart. Room was amazing with hot balloons air view, and you can enjoy every part of hotels with cappadocia atmosphere. There’s no others choice to stay when we back there. Thanks Sultan Cave 😊

This cave hotel is strategically located with the terrace giving clear views of hot air baloons in the sky , breakfast is also arra ged on the terrace for clicking pictures The caves , though look old are very well maintained and are decent in size not too spacious not too small . Good for a couple Best thing is the super polite staff who are there to help you plan your trip and also advice you on any of your queries . While it might sound a bit heavy ( relatively) on pocket but its totally worth every penny you spend Full marks for cleanliness , only small issue with the up and down the stairs that you might not enjoy but thats totally fine i feel Special mention to the staff members Sehriban Yousuf Burkay Ismail Yesim 16 year old staff who knows 5 languages and the evening staff ( forgot his name ) who helped all throughout the stay for every small request

Sultan Cave Suites is not just one of the best cave suites in Goreme, its has the best view of the city and awesome staff and hospitality. They're very accommodating and have English speaking staff. Their rooftop restaurant Seten is one of best in the city, and is the most visited by tourists who are staying at other cave hotels too!! This is place is a highly recommended for anyone who loves comfort, luxury and an extraordinary experience.

The pictures and reputation of this property are well earned what you see is what you get and that is fabulous. Getting up early is essential at this property to get the best pictures / view and avoid the overwhelming Insta gramers who attempt to absorb every location in its entirety as they take the same picture 10,000 times in a row. Escape to the pool side of the hotel for even better pictures and virtually no crowd, you won't regret it The Spa at this hotel is simply stunning and the best massage we’ve ever had. The restaurant for breakfast offered good variety and the rooms we’re beautiful and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it.

I stayed at this property for three nights. I was assigned cave (room) 308. EVERYTHING about this cave hotel is fantastic! My cave room was wonderful in every way. Nicely appointed. Super comfortable bed. Modern conveniences. There was a wall unit air conditioner at the very front of the room, but it really was useless. There was a very quiet and powerful floor fan that worked wonderfully and I had it blow on me while I was sleeping. The bathroom was perfect. I loved the cozy walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and hand held shower head. The service was exceptional. A young, multi-language speaking team of energetic professionals! They were happy, friendly, helpful, organized, and knowledgeable. GREAT front office team! Ismail was a standout team member. The serving staff at the rooftop terrace bar were also exceptional, especially Mert. He was the hardest working of them all. The hotel is located at the highest part of the village. You have unobstructed views of the Göreme Valley and the hot air balloons each morning. It is truly an instagrammable type of place. I loved everything about this magical property. Excellent staff. Wonderful room. Perfect location. Great price. I HIGHLY recommend it. Thanks for a spectacular and memorable stay!

We had an incredible few nights at the Sultan Caves Hotel in Cappadocia. Our hotel was in the cave wall, with a cosy feel, but with modern design including the mosaics on the floor. The team were amazing at checking us in even at midnight, proving a light snack when we arrived. The hotel has an amazing restaurant which is one of the few places we would recommend for an outstanding meal in Cappadocia. As a gay couple it is always nice to find a place that is welcoming like this hotel. The only slight disappointment (and this is not the hotels fault) is that the balloon watching on the patio in the morning is full of entitled social media influences who believe that they have the right complain about everything and be obnoxious. If you want to watch the balloons in the morning, go elsewhere.

Family of 3, stayed from September 3rd till September 7th, 2022. From the moment of our arrival to Nevesehir airport till the moment of our departure to the next destination we felt welcome. Very family-oriented environment, exceptional hospitality, and smiley faces. We were given a tour of the hotel and amenities, then taken to our rooms. Our room was a cave room called the king suite with terrace (Room number 304). It was beautiful, authentic, clean, and had an AC. Beautiful spacious marble bathroom. Room authentically decorated in Cappadocian-Turkish style. Sheets were changed and towels replaced upon request. Lovely housekeeping team. Front desk very receptive and helpful, all hotel staff went above and beyond to tend to guests to make sure all were having a great experience. Given the nature of it being a family run hotel, it had warm friendly vibes. SETEN RESTAURANT – absolutely to die for! Best restaurant in Cappadocia hands down. Breakfast – best spread ever lots of choices. Served by lovely people. Dinner - It is a definite MUST. Especially the Muhammara, Mutancana, Testi Kebab, and Pumpkin Dessert!!!! I do advise you to book your tours with the hotel but make sure it is with the hotels Kelebek Tour company as we had a frightening experience with a company in city centre. Thank you to the amazing staff at the hotel that made our stay in Cappadocia memorable. We are avid travelers so believe me when I say this hotel is well worth it especially the fact it is THE best view to watch the beautiful hot air balloons fly over Goreme with many caves surrounding you. Special thanks to front desk - Duru, Amir, Sena, Murat - and including Seten Restaurant – Hussain, Utku and Serife – including anyone else I may have forgotten to name, you are all doing an amazing job. Cannot wait to be back!

Our son Kailaish booked for us Sultan Cave Suites as our accommodation for our 3 night stay in cappadocia. The hotel immediately got in touch with us via WhatsApp back in April itself and booked our hot air balloon ride. We arrived on 12 August and the staff was simply fabulous. They were so helpful with all other tour info and eateries. The room itself though had a rustic, cave-like look, it had all the modern amenities. The view was simply amazing and you get to see Mother Nature at its best. ❤️

This place is a dream. If you are on Instagram, the famous terrace to see the balloons is here. It is stunning. The rooms are beautiful with complete attention to detail. The staff are warm and friendly. I will say that you should book your hot air balloon ride PRIOR to coming. We did not and we paid a lot more than we should have, but it was well worth it. The town is beautiful and please see my other restaurant recommendation. This is the City of the Sunrise and next we are off to Santorini, the Island of Sunsets. Hope my sleeping schedule adjusts! This trip was an amazing experience and I completely recommend it.
