Pamukkale is probably the most overhyped attraction in Turkey, nevertheless the hotel staff was very friendly and drove us to the top. Honestly, the park across the street is better than the cliffs themselves. Hotel does have a nice view of the cliffs, but I would skip going into the park. Its like they carved a waterpark out of the...

The Hal-Tur is a small, clean, well-run hotel right at the foot of the travertine pools. The owner and his family have lived in Pamukkale for generations, and had a hotel above the pools that was razed when the park was made. So he got a prime spot below - complete with swimming pool and decent restaurant. Reasonably priced.

the Hal Tur hotel sits right opposite the travertine terraces at Pammukale/Hierapolis. the rooms were very clean, there was AC, cable tv, a clean pool and a wonderful balcony. furthermore, the staff were extremely helpful, explaining us the sites and how to best check them out. the manager speaks several languages quite well. pammukale often gets a bad rap as...

Wonderful hotel with staff who ensure your stay is stress free. Tufan the owner drove us to the far entrance the Pamukkale system so we could walk back without worry. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and the rooms very clean and comfortable. From walking around the area we did not find a better hotel for situation and appeal.

Can't believe a very recent review of this hotel, calling it soulless. We had a good room looking out over the travertines, with decent bath/shower and lovely soft towels. Our host took much trouble to tell us about the area, lent us a guidebook, provided extra towels for the thermal baths, drove us up to the North Gate so we...

Fantastic location overlooking the terraces but we didn't spend much time in the hotel to enjoy it. The rooms and hotel as a whole are looking a little dated, but it was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Perhaps it was just that we were there out of the main season but the hotel and town in generally felt pretty much...

Arrived early afternoon and welcomed by the very friendly owner. Gave us a choice of rooms, which was a nice touch. Rooms were on the small side, but had everything you needed and was very clean. Free WI-FI included. Mini bar, etc. Hotel is in a great position, just on the edge of town with great views over the Travertines....

The view is gorgeous, the location is awesome and the staff is amazing. You have to try the local wine, the best of Turkey.

You can't beat this location: you can walk to the travertines from the hotel. The attentive owner lent us a towel to take to the pool at Pamukkale since we had not packed any extras. Our hotel room had a small balcony overlooking a courtyard and was quiet. The room was the typical small room with a small bathroom. Towels...
