We arrived in Pamukkale in the afternoon. We where shown rooms and offered coffee. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower was the best shower I have ever had in Turkey (and I have been traveling for many years)

We had to change rooms as I had an accident and needed a ground floor room and they did so immediately. We were able to dry our washing and were looked after in a very friendly way. Great swimming pool. And close to all amenities.

Travertine and Hieropolis were very close, about 5 minutes. You can easily walk to the bottom of the travertine and walk up or you can take a taxi to the top, walk around Hieropolis and then down the travertine. Denizli train station may be about 45 minutes away (if I'm remembering correctly because we left from the Denizli airport, not train station - the train station is probably still at least 30 minutes).
