Spent two nights at this hotel.... we had an attic room which was spacious with a good size balcony. The breakfast was excellent. Turkish and European mixed. On our second day there was no one using the room so kept it until late with no extra charge. The island is small and very exclusive. You defiantly feel spoiled. We particularly... More

I loved the time that i've spent at this hotel in the summer time. Good food, nice service. It's the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Every room also have a great view, i liked that i didn't have tv in the room. The design of the hotel is intersting also.

Wow, what a place... very intimate and pretty, romantic and beautifully kept by the most dedicated and delightful staff. Only ten bedrooms so nice and small. The hotel is built on the side of a steep cliff and the gardens and restaurant/bar and pool areas are in nice little sections. Amazing views of the bay and other islands. Food is... More

We had loft room which was absolutely lovely apart from many sloping ceilings so hitting your head occasionally is a risk worth taking, for the stunning sea and mountain views!!!! Also you have perfect vantage point for the sunsets in front of you unobstructed

Perfect stay. A haven away from reality. A lovely, simple boutique hotel on the most beautiful island. Completely unspoilt and like a secret hideaway with the most lovely views. Great food prepared by the in house chef and great friendly staff. Very relaxing hotel and holiday.

It's a nice quiet isolated place that is good for rest & honeymooners. It's located in a small island 5 min by boat from Calis beach. Calis beach is around 20min from Fethiye. A taxi would take around 30tl for the transfer each way. U can take the mini bus , which is cheaper, but it will not drop u... More

Out of this world to say the very least. Private boat trip to the secluded island. The climb from the boat deck and private beach up to the hotel was a little strenuous but much needed. 167 stairs. The room was very spacious and had a 360 degree ocean view. Completely panoramic. We went to dinner on the island, can't... More

Very friendly, delicious food, clean simple rooms and beautiful views. Lovely pool and clean sea. You can swim around the island which takes 2 hours although there are strong currents at one end. Hotel can organise a boat taxi to the restaurant at the other end of the island which has very good food and service. Food at hotel is... More

We have just spent a few amazing days at the Ece hotel and it is without doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in! The location on a small island off the main land makes it a quiet & tranquil piece of paradise! The service can not be faulted - all the staff are attentive & friendly. Great,... More

Excellent room, staff are superb as is breakfast, totally laid back and very comfortable. Location is away from the usual hustle of the main town ad it is very private, there are steps up to the hotel from the sea so this would not suit people with mobility issues. Staff are excellent. Osman deserves a special mention; anything you need... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ece Boutique Hotel on the island of Sovalye enjoys the most spectacular location on the water's edge, with 12 spacious rooms with wonderful sea views. The 11 spacious rooms (and one two-bedroom suite) are divided between two buildings and each open-plan room has a double or twin bed, a sitting area, fabulous picture windows to maximize the view, and a large balcony or terrace with, of course, more superb views out to sea. The Terrace Restaurant and pool area are the focal point of the hotel. Guests are requested to book at breakfast for the special dinner that is prepared each evening with the freshest of ingredients. Steps lead down from the restaurant past terraced gardens dotted with secret hideaways - to the Private Waterfront. Here guests can relax by the water's edge enjoying the wonderful views. An 'honesty bar' is located and a waiter service is provided on the terraces to ensure guests don't have to climb up the hill too often! The active are well catered for with the complimentary water sports and will enjoy the challenge of paddling around the island, or swimming - which is a little harder! At the tip of the island, a ten-minute walk from Ece, is the simple sand and shingle Sunset Beach - home to the Ada Beach Club & Restaurant. This magical setting provides the perfect vantage point from which to watch the sun dip below the horizon. Having tasted the unique atmosphere of Sovalye, we find that Guests rarely elect to venture from the island. However, on the occasions they do it is a simple hop across the water to the harbour town of Fethiye where its Turkish and cosmopolitan delights await your exploration as does the Lycian coastline beyond. A complimentary water-taxi operates three times throughout the day and evening from the hotel approximately 20-minutes to Fethiye and 7-minutes to Calis Beach. ... more   less
