Very close to Entebbe airport this guest house is a pleasure if you need an overnight stay or longer. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are quality and the food is of a high standard. Perfect for a stop over before travelling into Uganda (we are a charity working with primary schools in Uganda) and equally perfect when travelling back to the airport. Mission Guest House is a five star Ugandan guest house experience in our book. 🙂

This was one of the best nights we had during our 12 days in Uganda. The room was clean. The staff was helpful and customer service-minded. (Norah helped us establish internet and took the time to discuss how our time in Uganda went. Herbert was so kind and showed us to various rooms. Wilbert drove us to the airport the next day, assisting with our bags, and Dorothy brought us our waters promptly when we asked for them.) The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. It was just what we needed as a place to unwind and process all that we saw and did before returning to the USA. The food was outstanding and the chef even took the time to cut the breakfast fruit decoratively. If I ever have to opportunity to return to Entebbe, I would definitely plan to stay at Mission Guesthouse on arrival and before departure.

Herbert and Brian have done an amazing job at creating an environment that is not only welcoming but completely hospitable and perfectly lovely. Herbert picked us up at the airport, took us around Entebbe to relax a bit and to a great spot to get dinner. (Cafe Javas--which I also recommend). The rooms were all beautiful with really fun colored linens and names for each room. Mosquito nets also provided which was comforting. Our group of 7 had breakfast and a lunch there and the food was great. Plenty of options to choose from and nice fresh fruit and juices. The fruit juice in Uganda is like nothing else--SOOO GOOD!!! Especially mango when in season. Herbert is an excellent driver and a great person to hang out with. The entire staff is kind and very sweet. Nora especially is a delight. They even sang happy birthday to one of our team members back in the states; and not in the corny way like Applebees does. They also have local crafts and art that can be purchased. I bought a painting there that I couldn't find anything like it in either Jinja or Fort Portal. This House is truly a gem of a find and I will absolutely stay there again next time I'm in Uganda which will likely be on a yearly basis.

My wife and I had a great time here. The first nights of our marriage were spent away from the noise, being treated like royalty. The room service, the lounge area, the view from the balcony were my wife and I sat occasionally to talk. All these things made our stay amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves and very much appreciate. Thank you guys.

We have the best of the time at missions guest house, we loved the humble welcomes and consistent care of the worker but also the whole experience right from the meals, room arrangement, additional benefits, it was all excellent.

Herbert was a great tour guide, driver, and companion. Importantly we worked together before the trip to design an experience which covered all the places I wanted to see. Herbert was very knowledgeable and presented many options. We saw the gorillas in Bwindi, chimps on an island in Lake Victoria, and drove up to Arua to visit the refugee camps and see the work missionaries are doing there. Mission Guest House was also very nice at Entebbe airport and the staff was very welcoming. All told, an excellent adventure, and I would recommend Herbert and Mission Guest House to anyone.

The Guesthouse itself is modest, but rooms are very big, impeccably clean, and the staff is the greatest asset: all of them are helpful courteous and cannot do enough for you. I would single out Herbert and Nora, but everybody was great I warmly recommend it. Wifi is very good.
