Stayed here for 9 nights in January and it was a fantastic stay. Hotel is spotless, rooms are large (45sqm) and all have sea views. Lovely comfortable huge beds. Bathroom has a soaking bath and large shower, toiletries were gorgeous, B’al D’afrique by Byredo. They smelt divine. There is a coffee machine and pods are replaced daily and also a kettle. Fridge is very efficient and you are given plenty of water. Ample storage, usb points at bedside, electric blinds and curtains. We had a club room so had access to club lounge. Breakfast was very good there and the evening cocktails excellent. Dhiraj and his staff in the club lounge were fantastic and could not do enough for you. We had a couple of minor problems but they were sorted quickly and efficiently. We felt so well looked after by all of them. They even gave us a framed photograph they had taken of the two of us on our last night. We often stay in club rooms in hotels but the staff here were the best I have ever encountered. It was a perfect relaxing break in the sun after Christmas.…
I stayed here with my wife and 2 children for 10 days in July/August for one of possibly the most relaxing breaks we have had in years... Hotel: lovely design, modern and relaxing. Fantastic layout with some really grand spaces. As an Architect I have to say this is one of the best designed places I have stayed at. Rooms: we stayed in a classic room and then a sea view villa. Both fantastic spaces with great decoration. I especially loved the ability to cast netflix/YouTube etc. from our phones to any of the screens. Plenty of water delivered every day and so well appointed generally. Lovely ambient smell also which makes a massive difference. Pool & Gym: Both areas had everything you would want, with the very chilled pool providing plenty of space to lounge alongside the swim up bar and separate, sheltered and shallow kids pool. The beach was also really close with plenty of sun beds available. A DJ played by the pool for a couple of hours each afternoon over the weekend which was great, with his chilled tunes providing a great backdrop to the daily sunset. The rest of the time, low volume ambient tunes played which gave the whole area a lovely relaxing vibe. Kids club: secure and free to use with no time limit as far as i was aware, and our kids (5 & 10) loved it so much. The staff there knew their names from go and welcomed them by name every day, giving us a couple of hours each afternoon to chill. Restaurants: all very different and all fantastic! Great, high quality food choice in Saffar every day, and it was always different. Someone else mentioned the kids food being poor in Saffar but that wasn't our experience at all. All inclusive: free alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks from midday at ShaSha the pool bar (until it closed at sundown) and from midday to close (10pm) in Saffar or on the terrace outside Saffar. Food was served in Saffar all day and I have to say the breakfast choice was spot on. There was a 120aed allowance for each meal in all other restaurants (Levant&Nar, NoHo) if you use them which covers the main course.. Drinks in these restaurants are chargeable... All inclusive is a fantastic option in my opinion and gives you exactly what you need. Shout outs to: Rahul, Limbu & especially Arkam in Saffar.. all of these guys are so personable and really made our dining experience each day exceptional. The hotel needs to retain these guys at all costs as for residents they are the friendly every day face of the resort. Arkam went on leave for a few days whilst we were there and our kids actually cried when they found out because they had got to know him so well.. Manish and Robin at the ShaSha. Both so helpful and friendly. Martin Hilton (Director of Recreation & Spa) a really lovely guy and always present and making sure our experience was as good as it could be..! I have to say the staff at this hotel are exceptional in every way, they really are.. from room service to front desk to concierge to excursions, everyone was doing their utmost to give us the absolute best experience and that means so much.. Thank you InterContinental RAK for giving is the best break, we will definitely be back!…
InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah is a luxurious hotel offering stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. It features a private beach, multiple dining options, and extensive leisure facilities including a spa and multiple pools. Guests can enjoy a unique blend of modern comfort and traditional Arabian hospitality. Staff is very kind and helpful. Special praise to Collins. He was helpful and it was nice to chat with him.
My boyfriend and I visited this hotel in January and could not fault it from the moment we arrived. We arrived really early in the morning after an overnight flight. The hotel was hosting a business conference so all the rooms including ours were still occupied and wouldn’t be ready until the normal check in time of 3pm. The lovely lady on the front desk asked if we wanted a free upgrade to one of the club rooms which we could access immediately. A lovely touch to be able to check in at 10am. We had a lovely massage in the SPA which we would highly recommend. All the staff in the hotel went above and beyond to make sure the stay was enjoyable. The food was great, we were on a half board package and we were able to choose from three restaurants all which had great food. A special shout out to: Arkham, Rahul and Abhijith at Saffar - the most delightful staff who were so attentive and friendly The general manager of the gym from Manchester - so welcoming and really kind when I wasn’t feeling well The staff around the pool - who were so attentive and came to make your bed every morning as well as ensuring we were well stocked up with chilled water throughout the day Precious at Sha Sha was great and always asking if there was anything we needed Philip at NOHO was great and so friendly The staff really do make this hotel. 5 stars all round and we will definitely be visiting again.…
Great resort with nice staff. Check in and out was really smooth. Shabaz gave us all details of facilities. He's the best Front desk staff. Room was spacious with nice sea view and outside seating area. We enjoyed the pool and beach ⛱️. Great choice of breakfast. SPA was really good. We enjoyed it. Overall, great resort in RAK. We will stay again next stop to RAK.
Lovely peaceful and new hotel , spacious and very clean. Loads of sun beds around the pool and on the private beach . Pool and beach service is slow at busy times but otherwise great friendly staff. All rooms have sea views and are very spacious. Bedding is very comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel are very friendly and helpful .. too many to mention but thank you to you all . Joseph was very helpful in sorting out our luggage on arrival and departure in the middle of the night . Buffet food was excellent as were the attached restaurants . There is no entertainment at night, and local places to go are a taxi ride away so it is very quiet in the evening . The hotel gets quite busy at weekends . We will definitely come back very soon as this was a very relaxing holiday and staff looked after us so well.…
An amazing stay at a stunning new hotel - the staff were so friendly, whatever time of day or night, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our children (4 and 2) loved the interest the staff took in them each day - saying hi, getting them colouring sheets etc, and chefs even cooking food on demand for them each night. Can’t fault it in any way. Our room was stunning (on 6th floor so panoramic views over the hotel and sea) and the freestanding bath, just wow. All the facilities you could want - plenty of loungers around the pool, friendly kids club, high spec gym and swim up pool bar all got big ticks in our book. We ate in Saffar most nights (breakfast and dinner selection simply divine, it may be a buffet but it’s certainly not your average buffet….) and NoHo for my husbands birthday which was also delicious! The only minor downside we encountered was there were no bars showing live football at the hotel itself (I realise not a priority for all) and it being located in a newly built area in RAK we had to venture out to a sports bar that we found (10 min taxi ride away at a golf club) to watch my husband’s beloved football one evening, but even that was an adventure in itself and the reception staff kindly arranged our taxi for us so it wasn’t a big issue. All in all, a perfect luxury family getaway and we’ll definitely return!…
This is the best hotel in Dubai and the frendliest staff ever, especially Arkam was really friendly and nice. They have delicious food. There are many choices like Indian food, seafood, meat, potatoes, salads. For dinner there are so many desserts. I recommend it.
It was amazing stay, very friendly and welcoming receptionist and bell boys. We had a beautiful spacious room with wonderful assorted fruits and Arabic sweets waiting for us in the room, beautiful ocean view. Club lounge staff specifically Roshan, Jessica and Shana was so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Big thank you to the club lounge team they were respectful excellent staff, normally kids are not allowed in the club lounge during the evening cocktails but they made an exception, treated us equally so we was so happy that our kids can enjoy some kiddie drinks as well. The kid’s club was excellent our kids had so much fun in there, Melanie, Maria and Bellah was brilliant with the kids they knows what the kids needs, they closed the kids club 1hour a day just to sanitise the whole place, which is great. Beach is beautiful and big to run around play some football etc. We went to the kiddie pool wasn’t that clean that day my kids saw a dead lizard in the pool many little spiders swimming around and leaves so wasn’t great. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, Fahim, Yash, Syam, and Ei Kay was great. If you want a little holiday try Intercontinental Ras al Khaima! God luck! Overall a great stay!…
