Stayed at BM Hotel with friends and overall it was a good experience. If you are looking to explore RAK and just need a spot to stay I would recommend it. We had the all inclusive offer which included alcohol all evening until 11pm. The hotel is dated and does need some modernisation but our room wasn't too bad. It has a sports bar which shows the football and a nice beach. The pool area is large with table tennis and a bar. There was also a camping area which looked like it had parties goes on in the evening. If you are after luxury, this is not the hotel for you. However for the price, location and friendly staff, it is a nice place for a short stay.
The hotel is acceptable in general. The food is average. The building is old and could use a face lift. The furniture is a bit dated and the beds are average in terms of comfort. The facilities are OK. The staff are nice and friendly. The full board all-inclusive formula is good value and highly recommended.
This hotel has recently been renovated and is excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and the food is very nice for what you pay for. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard. Service at both bars was quick. Hotel/facilities are not fancy but is definitely an excellent budget holiday. Beach location is lovely and there are lots of sun loungers. They put allergen information on the food labels at the dessert section! Salad bar has lots of variety and it is all very fresh. The recently renovated rooms have a homely feel with really nice tiling on the floor. Wine was quite nice considering it is an all inclusive. Bad: Food at lunch time is often better then the evenings. There is a much better selection of mains. Went during Covid so there was not much in means of music/entertainment in the evenings. Lifts are INCREDIBLY slow. Some things in the rooms are still in need of renovation e.g old doors/sink. Spirits taste like what you would expect for the price. …
We stayed all inclusive for one night for my birthday and we’re very happy with our stay. The staff were wonderful, helpful polite and friendly. The alcohol on an all inclusive was limited and not premium but with the price we paid this was as expected. Pool was chilly (not heated) but sea was glorious. Rooms were a little dated but large beds, clean facilities. One of our group had been given a smoking room and asked to swap to non smoking which was accommodated easily. We missed lunch on our first day but we’re offered it on the day of check out instead. Food was good, lovely breakfast good selection.
Surprisingly the hotel is renovated in 2015-2016, rooms are comfortable, king bed size is good enough for 2 adults and a kid. Not sufficient power outlet though for mobile charging or using a laptop, it is a very basic room but the beach gives value for money. Food is also good and nice to see that they serve vegetarian options too. Overall satisfied stay w were booked under the promotion of All-inclusive and it was worth it. When we reached the front desk staff (Ms. Rossal) treated us well and accommodate us for early checked-in as well, we appreciated her gesture. And yes staff was following COVID-19 protocol
