There is adult pool if you have don’t have kids. Several other pools. Alot of Al a carte restaurant. Many activities for all ages. I take part in volleyball and water polo and darts game it was very good to meet new people. Evening shows here outstanding like you are watching talent show. Thanks To Burak, Cansel Alona and Ahmet from Entertainment team.
Hello I have traveled to many hotels which their prices were approximately same But no one of them have a good behavior exept this one When we came here for the first time every one were happy and smile to us and now that we are check outing every one are smileing and it is soooooooo nice❤️❤️❤️❤️ specially Mr.Ahmed at recption.
Have to say was bit dubious coming to hotel after reading the negative reviews , all I can say is I honestly think that all poor reviews are totally unjustifiable, and hope they are not a vendetta. On arrival at around 10am we were greeted by the friendly reception staff who advised us that our room was not ready, we knew that check in was not until 3pm so this was not a problem for us , however our mobile number was taken and we were told if our room became available before ,reception would contact us . We received a call at 12.50 to say room was available , the room was very spacious , immaculately clean , and decorated with class , room has tv, mini bar that was stocked daily with beers, soft drinks, water, milk shakes, biscuits and potato snacks , there was ironing board and iron , hairdryer and safe. The hotel is very large and was up-to capacity , but there were never any queues , the food at Seven Heights buffet was excellent , with a wide variety of dishes for everybody’s taste. We went to all speciality restaurants apart from the Asian (as we are not lovers of Asian food) not once did we have any problem whatsoever of a booking a table contrary to some of negative reviews! All the restaurants the food was beautifully presented and delicious , was very hard to favour one above the others , the restaurants are set in a little square with a nice vibe , that doesn’t even feel like you are in a hotel , a previous review complained about the show , cannot understand why poster didn’t request to sit inside fully air conditioned restaurant . It’s a very family orientated hotel , however there are adult only areas which are great , and if people with children do enter these areas they are asked politely by the amazing staff to leave. Very sad that some clientele are extremely rude to the staff who work effortlessly with big smiles on their faces. Some reviews mention unruly children , that’s not the hotels fault , that’s down to the parents , not controlling the children and letting them run amok. As previously mentioned ALL the staff here are absolutely amazing , and are a credit to this beautiful hotel , we do have a special shout out though to Wayan at the infinity pool bar , you are a star in the making and deserve to go far , also to Sayeed in the sports bar what a character , you both made our stay even more memorable! Unfortunately it is our last day and we leave Friday morning :-( We will 100% be returning to the Rixos Bab al Bahr, keep up the good work you amazing bunch of people …
This was an excellent hotel to book. Having never been before, I was a bit worried about organising getting here. We didn't need to worry because taxis in Dubai and RAK are so well regulated. The hotel is kept clean, and the service is good. If all you want to do is relax, then this is the place. The breadth of food choices is outstanding, and we only realised when we got there that separate a la carte restaurants were present. The staff are amazing and look after you: big thanks to Abdul and Aaron in the outdoor beach hut area (especially Abdul), and also Bala in the main restaurant terrace who looked after us well. The activities are also well organised. I really enjoyed signing up for the paddleboarding as well. I think the only things to really plan for is getting to and from Dubai if you want a day trip - take cash for this as RAK taxis don't take card (although Dubai taxis do).…
We want to say big thanks to Mahmoud and Anna from fish bone restaurant. Realy we had a great evening with you Rixos is lucky to have people like you . Food was very delicious . We recommend this hotel for all . Definitely we will come back
Arrived about 10:00 Hani on reception informed us our room ready about 1 hour though we could use the amenities till then. On rechecking room told by somebody else room not till 15:00 checked again with Hani room ready, Thank you Hani. Room 2136 was a garden view, clean and more than adequate not as we had read in other reviews on this type of room. Found Farooq helpful on the Al A Carte Restaurants. Though overall we were not impressed by these restaurants as we prefer to eat a meal in peace not watch a show. Twice we had poor service in the Al A carte restaurants. The buffet restaurant Seven Heights food and choices of all types of cuisine superb. Staff very helpful from F & B Manager all the way down to cleaners plus to all those who provided good service and whose names are too many to mention. Though we would like to give special thanks to the following for the quality of food and excellent Service. Chef Sherif, Ganesh, Muhammad, Prajwal, and Sanjay for my special omelettes. Waiters Suleman, Seemab and the waiter from Goa whose name I have misplaced. Managers Sayed Ayman and Altron. Again thank you for the excellent food though our waistlines are cursing you :). All bars very good and friendly staff extra thanks to Sayed, Sangita, Surya, Kenneth Eid and the Keralan man in the Mojito bar. Restrooms always clean well done to you all, Tara and Ranjita stood out overall. Praise to Sana Ullah who paid attention to detail; at the Cabana bar who needs Lamborghini not a Tuktuk for collections. Beach man Naveed though limited English always looked after us. Last but no means least a very special thank you to Giacomo Puntel (Hotel Manager) for his friendliness attentiveness and for adding special moments to our holiday. One downside to the hotel is the level of dress code allowed in restaurants on evenings. We are already looking for a November / December return visit. …
The teen club is a great place for a fun time , here you can meet friendly guys , play various games . Thanks for Olga, she was kind and also in hotel staff is very nice who will always help and support .Coming to this hotel for the third time and I really like it, there are a lot of activities throughout the day and there is something to do I would like to visit here again
Teen Club is a very good place to relax with your family. There are a huge number of games for teenagers. You can meet people of your age while playing billiards or during other games. There are also a huge number of sports games like volleyball, football or basketball. The staff is extremely friendly, it's nice to see the employees I've seen before, such as Olga in the teen club, we will definitely come back here!
I generally love an all inclusive in Antalya/Belek (Maxx, Gloria Serenity, Lara Barut etc) but opted for this hotel in March 2023 looking for a similar experience but with guaranteed sunshine for the time of year. I did extensive research and this hotel is one of the few that offers a genuine all inclusive experience (as opposed to getting a set spend per day). I was slightly alarmed by the negative reviews prior to our departure - but I am pleased to say that very little transpired to affect my stay. We arrived around 12. Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready - but we went to get lunch and sat by the pool and went to our room around 4. The rooms are a little tired - but only if you look for it and they are generally pretty decent. Paying a little extra to upgrade seemed worth it. We had no problem booking restaurants. We went to the Italian, Turkish and Steak. It actually transpired that the buffet was good and we elected to go to the Italian at lunch a further twice. The buffet is busy but it certainly isn’t the chaos that has been described in other reviews. There is a decent variety and the quality is good. They could be a bit more imaginative with the vegetarian selection which mostly consisted of curries… For example they have a Mexican night and didn’t offer any vegetarian Mexican dish which should have been easy. The staff were all lovely and hard working and always had smiles on their faces. The hotel is very clean. Our small gripes were having towel cards (the towels aren’t that nice - no one is going to steal them), a lack of toilets/signs and it would be nice if the rooms had black out curtains. The live bands were really good but overall the entertainment was a bit meh. When you check out - you can no longer use the buffet which I think lacked class. It can’t cost them that much extra to allow guests with later transfers to eat! Overall we had a great stay and recommend it to those seeking some winter relaxing sunshine.…
Returned for a 7th time early in the morning so had to wait for our room to be made ready but not a problem as we had access to restaurants and pools. When you spot staff from previous visits and they greet you with a big hug you know you are in for a good time. We had booked a premium sea view room 3209 which had a huge balcony looking over the sea, fluffy towels, bathrobes and a well stocked minibar(except wine). Room service to the room was exceptional and Susan who we met last visit was pleased to see us. Mr Dipak the room service manager was on hand to ensure all was perfect. Susan had chocolates, biscuits and fresh fruit in the room which was a lovely touch. Old faces from previous visits were once again on hand to make us feel special. Ismail, Michael, Edwin, Rakesh, Abdul and Eid from pool bar and sea and see always had refreshments at hand. Most times we ate at Seven Heights where we was always greater with a good morning and a hand shake and fantastic smiles from everyone from the chefs to the toilet cleaner, what a great bunch of people. We were always made very welcome to eat at the a la carte restaurants thanks to Ni luh, Meradona, Tilak and Anna at the Asian and Krishna at the fish and Farooq at the Meatpoint. Thanks to other managers Ajay, Amman, Sayed, Koshy and Amhed. Deepak at the bar was a real star too. A big thanks to Memhet you really made our holiday come to a great end. The biggest thank really has to go to Rajender you really are one of a kind. You are so special. Met the GM and hotel manager and good luck in all you do. You have staff to be proud off. Planning a return as some promises to keep and see if I can convert more of the staff to a Scottish lifestyle( see attached photos) Karl and Alison…
