I was in The Act Hotel in Sharjah ,it was very nice and everywhere is clean .Breakfast and dinner international buffet .Stuff was very helpful and kind ,I want to say thank to Mohsin and Shajah they are helped so much .I liked also location was very comfortable for me near the sea and market ,pazar everything.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE, UNETHICAL HOTEL, ACTIVELY ENGAGING IN CONSUMER FRAUD AND FALSE ADVERTISING WITH IMPUNITY. In December 2022, I booked 6 nights stay with them on their OWN WEBSITE advertising a "winter deal", for a stay at the end of February 2023. A few days before my trip, I tried to confirm the reservation via email and WhatsApp but received no reply. So I called them the day that I was supposed to fly into Sharjah and they told me the reservation is cancelled due to a problem with my card. This is a complete lie because I booked everything for my trip (rental car, museum tickets, etc) using this card and had zero issues. Also the reservation department didn't even attempt look for my reservation - as soon as I gave the confirmation number from their own website they said it was cancelled and transferred me to a manager. They didn't ask my name, they didn't type in anything into the computer. This indicated to me that they already gave away my room to someone else because they could charge more. February is their high season and hotel demand was sky high, which is why I booked 2 months before and never expected or experienced anything like this!! I was flabbergasted and left scrambling to find a hotel room for my family last minute. Almost ruined our whole trip. This is so wrong not to honor your own advertised special rates on your own website!!! I will file complaints to every UAE and Sharjah governmental agencies dealing with tourism, consumer protection and fraud. They cannot keep getting away with this! I urge every person (and I am not the only one judging from the similar complaints I have seen about this hotel) who have experienced this to do the same.…

I have reservation #23020859916 from 20 Feb 2023 to 26 Feb 2023, but hotel was cancelled my booking 19 Feb 2023 without any contacts with me. The hotel does not answer phone calls, emails or whatsapp! This is my worst travel experience in 20 years.

I don’t know how they classified this Hotel as a 5 star Hotel, I don’t give it even 3 star. First of all the Hotel ignored and never replied to my special request through booking or whatsapp. I requested a higher floor with a sea-view if it is available. The front office was not friendly or helpful, he was not wearing a name badge even, and he gave me the worst room in the Hotel telling that the Hotel is fully booked which was not true since more than half of rooms were empty. The room was not clean (I have photos) dirty finger prints everywhere, fridge was not working, cups were dirty, no tea spoon, kettle cover was broken, no slipper and when I requested they brought only one while the room was for 2 adults, desk light stand was not fitted properly to the wall, pillows smell dusty,I waited like 30 mins under the shower waiting for the hot water to reach, I requested a blanket and they provided a very very old one, the room has a terrible view (sand parking and garbage containers view). I will never go there again since I had a very bad experience and I do not recommend it to anybody.…

Hotel in general is good ; location and room size. Staff were good and gentle. Would repeate the visit. Breakfast was a bit limited, needs to add more varieties to serve guests better. Also swimming pool needs improvement. But in general the visit was good and might repeat the visit again.

The act cancelled my reservation on the day of travelling. Arriving in the middle of the night the front desk manager couldn’t find my booking. When handing over my booking nr Iwas informed the reservation was cancelled. It appeared there was no spare room available as there were many groups. My guess is they could earn more maney. The reason of the cancellation was that the credit card name was different from the guest staying ( myname). I travel for bussiness more than 20 years, always the secretary is booking and never had a problem. How impolite the front desk was picking up phones, helping others and not taking time for me. So I had to travel all through Sharjah looking for a new hotel and paying too much money. No complaint possible via booking.com since I needed the booking code but that was cancelled. The hotel has decent rates and the rooms are spacious with good views. However, it is far from being a 5 star hotel. The rooms have visible stains and the breakfast buffet was below average. The windows are dirty and you need to ask for the robes and slippers and whatnot because they're not provided to the rooms. The bathrooms were badly lit and badly ventilated and the cookware wasn't working at all. Hotel offered no alternatives.

The hotel is located in nice place. Opposite to the famous lagoon in the heart of Sharjah. The staff were helpful and polite. Was upgraded to one bedroom suite which was clean and the size was reasonable. The view to the lagoon was perfect. Breakfast was good. Nice location to have early morning walking around the lagoon. Nice to spend the weekend there.
