Great location a few hundred meeters north of the ferry-terminal. Great friendly staff that speaks good english. Very nice surroundings a few meters from the old town. A decent breakfast was served as well. Simple but clean and tidy rooms. Nothing to complain about...

We stayed three nights and had zero problems,no complaints and would stay there again. It is a very quaint posada and the staff is fantastic.Breakfast is standard fare for this part of the world. The posada is a seven minute walk from the ferry terminal and eight minutes from the bus terminal, easily walkable. The historic section of Colonia is...

My wife and I stayed here with our two young daughters (both under 5). The posada is an easy walk from the ferry terminal and is very close to the historic district, which is great because it makes it easy to visit the ruins in the evening. It's not too far to the main street with restaurants etc also -...

....and good firm beds. Ceiling fans are incredibly effective. Great welcome and professional management. The guy on reception was right on the ball dealing efficiently and pleasantly with a number of guests. Highly recommended.

The place is simple, but has some charm. Very close from the seaport, you can walk down the street. The breakfat is ok, but no more than that. They do have a nice and gently service, specially the brazilian host who works at the front desk and gave us some very good advices.

We stayed for 2 nights and I would say it was pretty average. We were in a room that was out of the way and felt like an overspill room. It smelt a bit fusty, the wifi didn't work in the room and the room was cold. The breakfast was good and the staff were nice, but we were disappointed...

Located a few steps from the ruins of the citadel wall and the old city of Colonia, the Posada was a very good option for a family weekend in the beautiful Colonia. The place is clean, the staff is nice and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The premium room had a nice view to the river. The bed...

A good hostel/hotel, good breakfast and good location close to the old town. A little bit expensive for travellers but good value in comparison to others in Colonia. It's an expensive town. You can walk to it in 5 mins from the bus and ferry terminal (turn left at the roundabout and walk straight for 5 mins). Would stay again.

I got upgraded to this B&B after booking a bed in their hostel and them having no space! This was the best thing they could've done; Viajero Posada was clean, comfortable and had very friendly and helpful staff at reception. The bed was amazing and the room had perfect WiFi and hot water. The breakfast was good compared to many...
