My daughter and I only stayed one night but were delighted. It is an old fashioned colonial style house. Excellent location, near everything including the ferry (walking distance) on a shady, quiet street. Most helpful and friendly staff, large airy rooms with comfortable big bathrooms, and excellent varied breakfast with homemade cakes and jams. There is also a garden with...

Situated in the Old Town, this hotel is an easy walk to historic sites, restaurants, ferry terminal and bus station. Rooms large and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff helpful and very accommodating. WiFi in common areas is excellent. Has the feel of an old hacienda with several quiet sitting areas, both inside and out. Since Colonia is a tourist...

Visiting from Buenos Aires we stayed only one night but the facilities and location were perfect. 10 mins easy walk from the ferry terminal onto the Main Street and then just off for the Don Antonio. Nice little swimming pool in a central courtyard. Great air conditioning and good wifi. If staying in Colindale you can't go wrong here.

Hotel was charming and comfortable. Clean rooms. Great breakfast included many options, breads, fruits, cheeses. Walking distance to most historical sites and shopping areas in Colonia. The staff was very polite and friendly. Check out the "craft market" area in city park, ask desk for directions. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed only for one night. My room was nicely appointed, quiet, and comfortable. Lots of good pillows. The staff were accommodating, allowing me to park my bags, take an afternoon swim after checkout, and provided a towel. The breakfast was copious and good. The hotel has nice common rooms. Wifi is only available downstairs. The pool is very small...

We spent 3 nights at the gracious old hotel. Our end room (324) was on the second floor and we had no neighbors to speak of, so the room was very quiet. Also clean and comfortable (although my husband found the bed a bit hard for his taste). Room has a little fridge which was much appreciated, and air conditioning...

I stayed at Don Antonio in January, 2017. From the online picture and star rating, I was expecting a very limited hotel. We arrive before our room was ready but the staff made us feel very comfortable and we were able to change. After a great lunch and walkabout in the old town, we returned to a lovely room at...

The staff is great. The location is the best, a few steps from the old city. Breakfast is really good. Very clean and it's also very peaceful. Ideal to have rest. Beds are very comfortable and the place is cozy. I was at room 330, located on the 2nd floor and the wifi was good. Nice pool. The room was...

Clean, confortable, of impecable tast, excellent breakfast, nice staff. This is an above average midrange hotel. Location is smack in the historical district, but you can walk easily to it from the ferry boat wharf.

We stayed here for one night and we're pleasantly surprised. This place has a small and beautiful swimming pool area. The sun chairs are good and the swimming pool is clean and good. Breakfast is great with a lot of variety. If going back to Colonia, this is our first choice for a place to stay.
