Spent a week here celebrating a special birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly and really made me feel "important" and on my actual birthday they brought flowers from their personal garden and I had a cake with a message on top and champagne (for breakfast).
The suites are large and fairly well appointed, if a tiny bit tired, but everything has been considered, even down to a small light you can attach to your book to read by.
There is an outdoor shower, a quaint novelty and a tatami mat room with floor cushions for playing chess and other games. The bed is large and comfortable and the little scrolls with legends, left on it each night, are a nice touch. The toiletries are L'Occitane which is also a nice touch.
We booked a number of tours through the hotel and all were very good. One that was especially fun was a 2 hour tour of local villiages, in a sidecar.
We used the spa and it was fine, although not as luxurious as others I have been to.
They reccomended a tailor for us and that was fabulous as we had many things made and all were a great success (Tuong Tailor).
The pool is lovely and even though it was winter, we were able to swim and enjoy cocktails and snacks by the pool. The pool guy even got out extra loungers for us when they were all occupied. There is a beach attached and that is picturesque also.
We were there on a "Luxury Escape" package and the only downside was that the meals (not the breakfast as it was wonderful), that were included did not change and were very ordinary. In my case inedible (pork hotpot - lots of gristle and pretty tough). Speaking of breakfast there was an extensive buffet and they also did Pho, which is a great change.
Overall we had a fabulous stay, loved Hoi An and the resort and I would higly reccomend staying there, just watch the set menus.

We were slightly jaded when we arrived at the oldish-looking, colonial-style decorated hotel, but its allure soon rubbed off on us as we were quickly charmed by the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The location is ideal: it is only a 15-minute taxi ride from the city centre of Hoi An. It is easy to call one through the local phone app and inexpensive to get there. The hotel has a beautiful and long private beach, and it offers a spectacular ocean view from its main dining and outdoor sitting areas. It also has a large outdoor pool with a stunning ocean backdrop, where we cooled off in between our sightseeing trips to the city.
I would like to give a special shoutout to Tuan, who warmly and professionally took care of us throughout our stay. He helped us book tickets to the nearby Memories Show, recommended fantastic local spots to eat, arranged our bicycle rentals and greeted us with his big smile every morning.
Connecting rooms are available, and there is a pool and table tennis table to use when it is raining. You can even book your private movie theatre. There is a free shuttle to Hoi An, and bicycles and kayaks are available. The pool has a bunch of pool noodles, which are great to float and relax on, and a beach lifeguard is on duty.
This hotel is by far great value for money, and you will feel the everyday stress drop from you as soon as you arrive!

This was an outstanding resort, where we stayed as our last stop before heading back to Canada. We were in a water front cabin which was extremely spacious, great scenic views of the China Sea, very well appointed, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a very good shower. This a very large property and the grounds were immaculate, with flowers and shrubbery everywhere. There is a very large restaurant, with a great buffet style of breakfast and a wide array of choices. The dinner menu was excellent, great service, especially to our evening waitress, which we had wonderful conversations with and shared some family moments, Hein Trang was just wonderful and we wish her a wonderful life with family and friends. The tour desk person, Resa was very helpful and recommended some areas to see as well as the Bamboo Theatre for which she got tickets for us. It was an awesome show. The location is not near shopping or restaurants, but they are only a short taxi or Tuk Tuk ride away. We highly recommend this resort and have nothing but great memories of our stay.

We stayed there for five nights and had a very relaxing stay. Since we had the opportunity, we spontaneously got an upgrade to a room with a sea view, which we thought was very nice. There is a clean private beach with a lifeguard. There were always enough loungers, parasols and towels. The view of the sea from the pool is also great. The rooms are generously furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Fresh drinking water was delivered to the room every day. In the evening there was even a note with a good night story. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, even by European standards. There were, for example, croissants, cheese and three types of sausage, lots of fruit and vegetables and also a wide selection of hot dishes. Only the bread selection could have been a bit more varied. The only drawback was the WiFi, which was often weak and also not password protected, which of course meant that you couldn't access various websites, for me it was Gmx, for example. In the surrounding restaurants, however, there was WiFi everywhere and it worked perfectly. We used the restaurant once, and it was delicious, but the price-performance ratio was much better in some of the surrounding restaurants. When we asked the hotel for an airport transfer, the price was 1,300,000 VND. Our surprised expression prompted the hotel employee to offer us a discount of 900,000 VND, which still seemed too much to us. We ended up taking a taxi we ordered ourselves for 500,000 VND. That seemed a bit odd to us. All the sanitary facilities were clean and worked perfectly. We even had a chic corner bathtub. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and kept asking if everything was OK.

The accommodation was more than adequate with an upgraded room for our extended stay. Very clean with the room serviced twice a day. The amenities are generous with plenty of bottle water supplied for drinking and bathroom use. The staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. The location although slightly out of the old town is easily reached by either the complimentary shuttle bus or taxi, which is very cheap…about $6 aus. The breakfasts and buffet dinners were excellent and expertly prepared by the onsite chefs. A special thank you to Diêm for greeting us in the mornings with a lovely smile and always at hand to help out with any enquires. She is a real asset for the hotel.

A lovely hotel with fantastic beach views and access to a private beach, a wonderful breeze meant it never felt hot. We stayed in a Garden View room which was very nice with plenty of space & a large bathroom & balcony.
Breakfast had plenty of choice and felt calm & relaxed, we had been travelling from Hanoi /Ha Long Bay & Hue so a day relaxing and doing very little was needed.
We did book an early trip to Ba Na Hills which is definitely worth a visit but go early.
The hotel run a free shuttle bus into the main town, about 15 mins, we took the last one which was 18:00 and then got a taxi back which is very cheap and they are plentiful.
The hotel is in a great location but we found upon returning to the hotel at 10pm it was deserted, the only bar open was the pool bar and on one night it was just us, not sure where everybody was.
I think in recommending this hotel it comes down to what's important to you & if this is the chill part of your trip, a cool beach location just outside town or being a bit more central with the ability to walk everywhere.
Great hotel and would stay again but I would also compare it to those more central. On leaving here we headed to Saigon and then Phu Quoc the later being the chill part of our trip.

I made a reservation for a garden view twin room for 3 days, and was able to stay in a room right in front of the beach through a free upgrade.
It was a very touching moment because I could see the sunny sea and sunrise outside at any time, and although the weather was hot, I could sit in front of the terrace and drink tea, read a book, and drink beer.
The outdoor pool and private beach are very close, so I spent my time sitting on the terrace and going for a swim when I got sweaty.
The room condition was basically satisfactory, including bedding, teaware, coffee machine, outdoor shower, whirlpool bathtub, etc.
Above all, the massage that was available on a buy-one-get-one deal was the best massage I've ever received. If I had known sooner, I would have gotten it again, but it was really disappointing.
Lastly, we were very grateful to Diem at the front desk who very kindly took care of us until the very end. I only have very good memories.

When you are in your eighties and travel alone as I do, finding a resort that is near a busy tourist destination like Hoi An but on the beach with a great pool, good food, attentive staff and big quiet spacious rooms is a plus. I stayed at the Victoria Hotel three nights at the end of a three week holiday in Vietnam. Their free shuttle takes you into the main part of Old Town three times a day and brings you back when you're ready to put your feet up and enjoy Happy Hour. The included breakfast is expansive. They make you Pho at the soup bar, omelets or sunny eggs at the grill. Fruit, sweets, cheese, Vietnamese items, etc - whatever your heart desires. I had all my dinners there and was impressed with the Asian and Western menus. The staff was great. My room was 'made up' without me feeling anyone had been poking around in my personal chaos. Everyone greeted me with smiles. By the second day the bar man knew my drink of choice and found me a cosy place to sit. They knew my room number. Three people were particularly helpful: Ngan in both reception and tours, Tuan on reception and Diem who trouble shot my transfer delay. I likely will never get back given my age, but I do recommend it to those looking for a touch of home when home's far away.

I stayed with my two children for three nights at the hotel after a 12-day trip to Vietnam. I chose this hotel for its location, its beach, the swimming pool, the calm and it was especially recommended to me by my sister who had stayed there before covid. I have not been disappointed . It is located opposite the sea (rare), it has its own beach, well maintained, with free deckchairs and a swimming pool facing the sea. The choice of my room for three was on the sea side and not on the river side, I did not I didn't regret it because the sunrise was wonderful. We are next to Hoi Han, the hotel offers us shuttles otherwise we took a taxi; the prices are ridiculous. The breakfast is wonderful too. We chose to eat in the evening in small local restaurants located 5 minutes walk from our hotel. My objective opinion is more than positive for this hotel. I really recommend it. sophie

Overall great choice for some relaxing days seaside. Nice pool, good access to the beach (right next to the resort, accessible via stairs directly from inside). Food was great, especially the Victoria Cheeseburger. Cocktail Bar with oceanview. Nice rooms, just make sure to take at least garden view (otherwise your windows are facing the through-street). Definitely too recommend!
Minor criticism: please do not greet new guests with "Hello, passport and credit card please". Does not make a good first impression. Also on checkout do not tell guests you have to have staff check the Minibar if you already asked if we took something - does not make a good last impression.
For anyone wanting to get laundry done: do NOT take the hotel service. There are great small shops around who do pickup and dropoff service, and charge for 6kg of laundry the same price (literally!) As the hotel does for 3 tshirts.

Apologies for the late answer. We saw many elderly groups enjoying their time at the resort. You could request a G/F room to avoid any steps up.
There are a few steps around the reception area and a flight of steps at the entrance, but I believe it is all very manageable.
It is easy to call a taxi into the city.
Have a great trip!

Immediately to the right of the resort is a beautiful beach. It is fine for swimming however I am unaware of snorkeling opportunities.
There is a beach in front of the resort but it is difficult to reach and is used by local citizens at low tide.
There are more places to choose from in the Hoi An area.
