Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
It was an amazing place very cosy and clean. The rooftop had a fantastic view and a very nice infinity pool. The buffet breakfast had a variety of different foods and was delicious. The location was good a 2 minute walk from the beach and lots of restaurants close by. Bikes are available for use and there was many spa and massage places in the immediate vicinity.

I had a great time at this hotel. I liked the location in a quiet side street yet only minutes walk from the beach. The front desk staff were excellent, polite & helpful at all times. I was upgraded to a deluxe room which had 2 windows, one with a limited view out and the other was a brick wall. It was spacious with rainforest shower, tea coffee kettle provided. I couldn’t really fault the hotel for what I paid it was an absolute bargain. I didn’t use the pool but it looked good, some wear and tear around the rooftop but there was maintenance planned on my leaving day so hopefully they were rectifying some of the things. The view from the top was fantastic. Breakfast was ok, eggs cooked to order, fruits and general Vietnamese items. Good view from dining room on 12th floor. WiFi was great in the room but was problematic to connect to in lobby. I would definitely stay again in future visits to Danang and can only give it 5 stars with everything considered.

Twice per year I visit Da Nang for business and this one was the first time I’ve been staying close to the beach side and was definitely a good choice. The hotel was just opened, the staff was really nice and the restaurant at top floor was cosy with a beautiful view. Definitely I’ll be back.

I don't really understand where this 4*+ comes from, to be honest, the hotel had its glory days, probably a long time ago. The room we were assigned was rather modest, not entirely clean, with a view of the wall. Poorly cleaned, we even found underwear left by previous guests in the room. Breakfast very poor. Tasty dishes and little selection. There are not even sanitary napkins on the tables. In the restaurant, a cockroach was walking on the table. If you want to leave earlier, don't count on a packed lunch to compensate for breakfast. Very nice service, especially at the reception. But even great service cannot replace the level of hotel services. In our opinion, this place may meet the standard of a hostel but not a hotel. The price is indeed low, but unfortunately even the low price does not compensate for the rest. Well, we were just passing through to visit Ba Na Hills. The trips recommended by the hotel are OK.

Me and my wife visited Vietnam in June 2022. During our visit, we got a chance to stay at Grand Ocean, Danang for two nights. We loved our stay throughout the duration and reasons are plenty. 1. Superb front office staff. They are sweet ladies and very hospitable. 2. The bell boy is a superb and a handsome hunk ( he should try modelling 😃) 3. Rooms are super comfy 4. Location is walkable to beach. 5. Breakfast buffet is elaborated and they helped us arrange Vegan food. 6. Special thanks to the sweet lady named "Phuoc" in the restaurant who took so good care of us. God bless you, sweety. 😊

Great location , friendly staff their restaurant serves amazing breakfast and staff cater to the needs of customers . Nhi is amazing at the restaurant, even recommended a lot of places to explore while at Danang city. We hired a hotel car to Bana Hills which was a blast . Thanks to Nhi for the advise and info.

I travel weekly for my job - throughout Vietnam/SE Asia/Australia and the service offered is well above what you would get in any 5 star place. The staff are eager to please and ready to help. Always and anytime you need it. The manager - Sophie - is an amazing attribute to the owners of this hotel. She has an excellent personable approach and invites you in like family. Even if you’re a grumpy weathered traveller like me ;-)
It’s a new hotel (which means awesome pillows and bed and comfortable furnishings) and yes, if you read the past reviews (especially “Great hotel but ...”) you can see that being a new place means there are some teething issues. BUT DO NOT disregard the place because of these other poorer reviews. Just remember these tips: - leave your room key in your room: it’s the only one you get (don’t know why), so if you don’t want a super hot room when you get back, LEAVE. THE. KEY. And the staff downstairs can let you in when you get back - Bathrooms have glass walls separating the rooms: just draw the blind if you want a private space. Simple. - yes there is street noise & no, there is no double glazing or sound proofing: This is standard in Vietnam. Just try to remember YOU ARE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. And more importantly, you’re in heavy tourist area. Expect cultural differences. - Breakfast or food issues? Tell someone. Trust me, you’ll get an exceptional response in return. And another serve. Very different to what you’d get in Western countries. - Renovations in the area: it’s Vietnam. They ALWAYS renovating and building something somewhere. Most likely across the road from where you plan to stay. It’s a developing nation. This is a given. Bring earplugs when travelling. Everywhere.
Come. Stay here. The staff are Justin’s waiting to help you however they can. The hotel is very well located to the My Khe Beach and a short 20+min walk or 5-10min (free bicycle loan from the hotel) ride away from the Dragon & Love Bridges, the night market and all the fun local riverside restaurants and live gigs along the river.

The beds and pillows are very comfy the hotel is clean and in a good location Anna has been very helpful
The breakfast buffet doesn't cater to westerners
The pool is a great touch to have here but there are only two sun loungers (more advertised in the hotels pictures)
The laundry isn't washed on site and does take some time to get back in your possession...they didn't tell us it is taken off site.

Good location right next to the beach in Da Nang. Very easy to get to and 24 hour supermarket downstairs. Only downside is that we had a room with no windows ! which didn’t help us getting up for breakfast! Great intimate pool on the roof with great views of the area and staff very friendly !

I stayed at Grand ocean luxury boutique for 6 nights! I have been so nicely welcomed and the staff has been very nice and very helpful all along my stay! Room was great! And fully equipped, I really enjoyed the swimming pool on top with a nice view of the beach
Breakfast was very good with also a very nice team ready to help you anytime!
I highly recommend this hotel, which is pretty well located as well
