Great Italian pasta in a comfortable setting. We only ate there, we stayed at Nagoma Zanga .we enjoyed the meal very much. Price was good, service was good. All good. We walked there from the bus company carrying our heavy back packs. Lots of space to put our loads while we ate.

Olga's main advantages are the resonable price of the rooms and the great pizzas. Do not go to the hotel if you want wifi (extrelemelty slow) or are craving for ice cream (mentioned everywhere but not available). Rooms are OK, considering the resonable price but are in need of some freshening up. Staff quite friendly but overwhelmed when more than...

rooms and services are outstanding-- if you are a business traveler the quality of the rooms here is as good as the Protea: large rooms cared for in the minimal details, nice desk, just very well thought out, clean, and airy. Very family-like atmpsphere with attentive staff. Good food.

We went to Olga's after reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor. It was worth the walk there from our hotel (Protea Hotel) as the food was exceptional and well-priced. However, the waiters struggled a bit with English so it will require a bit of patience. In addition, they did not have many of the items on the menu because some...

If you are looking for clean and good accommodation for a fair price, Olga’s is for you. The rooms are simple, but perfectly clean and excellent value for money. The staff are very helpful too and can arrange many excursions for you. Food is also good and just a few steps away from your room. Finally, their profits go towards...

The hotel is nice and clean and not so many mosquitos and in other hotels in the area. Staff is friendly and the good is real italian great food.I was really impresive with breakfast but dinner there is a must. I also liked that bedroom prices are public and always the same, not as in other hotels of the area...

We consider ourselves to have been very lucky to get 3 nights accommodation at Olga's when we turned up without a prior booking. The staff were very helpful and managed to switch round a couple of bookings to allow us to have a room big enough for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was of an incredibly...

Much cheaper than other places given its quality. Breakfast was big and had a variety of selections, including a full english breakfast juice and coffee. Its better to book the rooms in advance via email since they only have 8 rooms. It's very close to a grocery store, in case you need to stock up on some things.

First night we went there for dinner, around 7. The place is nice and full of tourists. My husband had a Ragu tagliatelle which he found it delicious and I had a Diavola pizza which also was very good, not hot at all but th big size is enough for two. We had a coffee for dessert which was quite...

If you happen to find yourself in Livingstone, Zambia, missing Europe and European cuisine, there is no better placxe to head than Olga's. If nothing else, you'll be surprised to see how many other people felt the same way. It is not a very local place, but seems to be extremely popular with travelling-types, backpackers, and anyone working at the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Olga's the Italian Corner is the final stage of an educational project for the most vulnerable youth of Livingstone. It opened in 2008 as a production unit in support of YCTC (Youth Community Training Centre), a certified school built by the Diocese of Livingstone and CELIM (an Italian NGO). All Olga's profits go to YCTC which provides training in catering, tailoring, plumbing, electrical, metal construction, computer studies and bricklaying to orphans and vulnerable youth. Most of Olga's employees come from the YCTC's catering course, which results in the project being self-sustainable. Olga's is located in the center of Livingstone and only 9 kilometres far from the famous Victoria Falls, easily reachable with minibus or cab. It is 15 minutes far from the airport and walking distance from the main attractions of Livingstone: bars, travel agencies, shops, museum, grocerystore, etc. ... more   less
