Everything you want as a backpacker- in house travel advice, restaurant, kitchen, free wifi, clean showers, pool tables, comfy sofas/social areas etc. Also free transfers to Vic Falls. I would say though that the prices are a bit on the high side for what it is- also the first room we stayed in didn't even have mosquito nets. Other than...

One has to keep in mind that this is a backpackers camp. This is not a 5 star hotel. So, for the category that it is in, it is quite nice. The best part above all are the employees that assist in setting up events. Kim was so efficient and really did not lead us astray at all in what...

After our 6 hour bus ride, i was knackered to the bone and yet i still had to take a trip down to Victoria falls. The lady checking us in was super nice and was kind enough to help keep my language. I bothered her a trifle bit for lose change. But she always had a smile. The showers where...

Stayed here with a friend in a double room with private bathroom in the back of the property in Jan 2014. I had asked reception for 2 keys to our room, they don't have these for any of the double rooms apparently. My friend wanted to get sleep before our white water rafting excursion on the Zambezi so he went...

I went to JBs whilst out in Zambia for some work. We stayed for 3 nights and it was simply fantastic. We were a group of friends and shared a dorm room. We met plenty of lovely people to chill by the pool with - the staff are laid back, but very organised. Plenty of activities available that you can...

We stayed here twice during our stay both times for two nights. Stayed in a private room with share bathroom- plenty of bathrooms which are clean and lovely hot water. Rooms have mosquito nets, fans, good quality safes for those worried about their valuables and clean linen. The staff are incredible ! Each of them very helpful and assisted with...

We'd only booked in for 2 days but ended up staying a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. OK, the rooms were a bit spartan and small, but everywhere was clean and the communal areas were just excellent for chilling out, chatting to other guests, using the free wifi, etc. Faith and Kim run the place with a light management touch that...

We ended up spending more time here than planned due to bus schedules. However, it had a nice pool, good wi-fi, and a pleasant common area. The rooms were very small so the common area was an important feature. And the staff was very helpful, particularly the manager Faith and Kim who assisted us with our onward travel.

I like staying at Jollyboys because you never know who you will meet. It is fun to hang out with all the different kinds of people that stay there. It does not cost very much and is close to other places to visit in town.
