Have underground acces also, so in rainy or snowy weather you still have good access to the train station. The hotel itself is nice, lobby in 18th floor already give a stunning city view of Nagoya. And they have very nice spa inside.
Modern hotel on elevated floors, comfortable room size, with a nice view of Nagoya city. There are plenty of restaurants along the street where the hotel is located, but well known ones were fully booked during dinner time. The hotel's main dining room/sky bar on 18F was great, we had a pretty impressive Napa Valley cab with good cheese platter. We saw a hot bath facility at the lobby level, but did not try it. Walking distance to JR Nagoya station, making it an ideal choice for business travellers.
Just a walking distance from the train and bus station this great hotel offers perfect rooms and high quality dining. The service is perfect and the values is great. The complimentary breakfast is amazing.
Arrived late in the evening (around 10pm) and there were 3-4 guests ahead of me waiting to check in. Within minutes, I was at the front of the line, checking in. Very efficient and friendly desk staff. The room was a decent size for a Japanese hotel, super clean, quiet, and comfortable. The king size bed was firm, but comfortable, and pillows were a mix of firm and soft. Power outlets on both sides of the bed and the desk. The TV looked to be about a 40" flat screen and had channels in Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese. No movie channels. There is a guest bath area that I did not visit. I also did not have a chance to visit the restaurant for breakfast. I have stayed at the Marriott Associa many times in the past, but that hotel is now about USD $250 to $300 per night - which gets you a slightly larger room and direct access to Nagoya station. This hotel has underground access to Nagoya Station, but I chose to walk on the street. This hotel is an easy 5-10 minute walk from Nagoya Station and also convenient to many restaurants, shops, etc. If you are looking for a very comfortable and reasonably priced alternative to the Marriott, look no further. Would definitely stay again when visiting Nagoya.…
We stayed at other Mitsui branches before so we know their rooms and services can be trusted. It’s one of tallest building in Nagoya so all rooms should be able to have a good view over the city. Staff helped us with using the printer service as the bus pass needs to be printed out for redemption. Room size is standard JP hotel. They have an open bath though without open area one. It’s convenient - 5-8mins on foot fr Nagoya station. There are restaurants around. JR station side and underwalk has more happenings.
Fabulous modern 4 star hotel occupying top floors of a new building. I had a reasonable size double room for single occupancy 20sqm. cost approx Y12,000 at weekend. Modern and stylish room fit out. views over city all the way to the mountains. About 5 mins walk from JR. can be done underground but probably easier to find on the surface. like other Mitsui hotels the entrance is very low key, looks like an office lobby: you take the lift up to the actually lobby. i didnt try bar or restaurant but they looked ok. loads of options nearby including in the underground passages. Only drawbacks: the rate can go up and down a lot day by day depending on demand. one side of the hotel overlooks a major construction site. i didnt face this so might not be a problem but maybe best avoided. looks like the work will be going on for a long time yet (Oct 2019)…
We stayed here for 4 nights. The spacious and modern lobby offers good views of the city. The hotel is in easy walking distance from Nagoya station. The room was very clean and modern. However, the bed was pushed against the wall on one side, the room was small with no space to unpack. There was no desk with mirror. The breakfast room was far too small for the number of guests. We had to wait 15 minutes on one occasion and were then told that breakfast ended at 9.45-no extension to the time even though we had arrived there at 0920. There were very few items left because they were not refilled. The breakfast room is always crowded and it is difficult to get to the buffet. We had a drink in the bar one night and the person who served us was rude and unfriendly-that was a shame because all other staff were polite. Although we liked the style of the hotel, it was not worth the price that we paid. I would not stay here again. …
Location is excellent. Accessible to Nagoya station via underground. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Hotel amenities are first class. You should make a stay at the Mitsui a definite for your next stay in Nagoya.
We were here for the Rugby. Walking distance from station. (You can do it underground but suggest you do it first time on the surface: Nagoya passages are difficult first time). Close to Castle. Very good breakfast included in our rate both Asian and Western selection. Room was very good with good views usual excellent kit. Staff were very helpful but they stick pretty rigidly to check in times and we had to wait a bit.
Once we found the motel we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were nice. We did have some difficulties during breakfast but that was more to language differences than staff issues. Over all a nice stay.
