We stayed in a number of Richmond hotels during our two week tour of Japan and found them to be a great choice for comfort and value. This hotel is located 10 mins from the station in a very lively neighborhood. The rooms are compact but modern and super comfy. What stood out was the service: check in is super...

The hotel offers all the basics you need. It has very competitive budget rooms which was what attracted me. However, you will get very little space (budget), a construction site next door (April 2017) and it is a fairly long distance from the main station. In summary: not to be avoided but also nothing exciting about it.

Stayed in Richmond Hotel with my family before and after our Tokyo tour. The size of the rooms are decent, slightly smaller than the usual hotels we stay in Japan. Nonetheless, the rooms and amenities are pristine which are always highly appreciated. More than anything, the excellent customer service is something I'll always remember. From the moment you step in...

Hotel modern, comfortable, clean and well located: 15 minutes walk from Nagoya Station and 20 minutes from Sakae. Welcoming and helpful staff. Only inconvenience the window of my room gave onto a very close wall.

I stayed at Richmond Hotel Nagoya Nayabashi for 4 days in Aug 2016. Transportation: Please be aware there is same hotel name which is called Richmond Hotel Nagoya Shinkansenguchi located nearby Nagoya JR station. Don't try to use GPS to navigate as it will bring you to wrong hotel from the Nagoya station. The easy way to this hotel is...

We stayed at Richmond Hotel Nagoya Nayabashi for one night before starting our journey to Takayama and Tateyama/Kurobe Route. The hotel is located about 21 minutes' walk from Sakae, the shopping district, and 15 minutes' walk from Nagoya Station. The on-site carpark was not able to accommodate the height of our mini-van, but there was no problem for us to...

We had a huge room, one of the few twin rooms in the hotel; it was well worth the extra expense. When we arrived in Nagoya we took a taxi to the hotel. It is a bit of a walk to the station - 15 minutes or more. When we left, we walked to the station with our luggage. The...

Our group of 11 people from Australia stayed in this hotel for five nights in April 2016. From Nagoya we did day trips to Kyoto, Matsumoto castle, Hakone. The hotel is within 15 minutes walk to the Nagoya station. Staff at reception are friendly, helpful and efficient. Our twin rooms are comfortable, spacious and modern also with free wifi. The...

Pleasantly greeted by front desk agents and offered a variety of amenities upon check in. Definitely geared toward business accommodations, but a good find for the money conscious traveler. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, this is a great find. Don't forget to stop in at the cafe on the first floor!
