This hotel is right next to the train station. In fact, it is actually on top of the train station right outside the main doors. It is a very convenient location if you want to stay close to train station with plenty of shopping and restaurants around. A 20 minute walk to the Toyota Museum and a very quick train trip to the train museum. There is a Starbucks a few minutes walk from lobby along with a convenience store. Everything us tourists needed for a quick overnight Stay. It is a lovely comfortable hotel room, quite small as expected in Japan but sufficient.

Check in was quick; after showing our passports at the check in counter, we were directed to use the machine to make the payment and get the key cards. Room was absolutely clean, big and so relaxing. I could spend all day sitting by the window and look at the view of Nagoya and the train tracks below - be it night or day. Room has a nice, big and clean relaxing bath, so satisfying after a long day of walking. Right on top of Nagoya Station with so many shops and restaurants at the lower floors.

I have made a booking from Agoda, but my mum suddenly get into the hospital, so I contact Agoda to cancel the booking, they replied me that they offer me: "Our booking partner informed us that after negotiation, hotel allows to cancel this booking with a penalty fee of 156.84 USD." I have accepted this offer and Agoda replied: "To give you an update about our previous special fee waiver request from the property, we have been informed that they are unable to honor the request due the booking’s cancellation policy." I don’t know what’s problem it is.

We had a one night stay here. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was great (shower only). The front desk staff was very helpful but didn’t all speak English so Google Translate was very helpful. The hotel location couldn’t be more convenient as it is attached to the Nagoya train station.

The hotel has a great position, high above Nagoya station - be sure to follow the signs from the train station concourse as it can be quite difficult to find the first time. The reception is on the 15th floor sky lobby. Ive stayed here twice and I love that all the rooms features can be controlled from the computer tablet next to the bed. There's a convenience store and cafe in the sky lobby next to reception which is very handy.

Convenient location, located right above Nagoya station. Front desk personnel was very kind and helpful with directions. Young lady receptionist give us excellent direction to get to Nagoya stadium. Great shopping and restaurant in the building or in the train station. Service A, very easy check-in and checkout service without waiting. Room A, Nice clean room with a view of the Shinkansen station and Nagoya City.

Don't stay on train track side. Jackhammering from construction during our stay. One night until 2:30 am. Communication with front desk impossible due to very poor English skills which is surprising given large number of international visitors.

We arrive around 1 PM. The hotel clearly had a 3 PM checkin time and I know in Japan there are no exceptions. But I did expect that I could complete the paperwork and leave my luggage until the official checkin time. While staff did accept the bags to store they could not do paperwork. So when I returned at 3:30 PM there was a big line I had to wait for! Similar situation in Kyoto at an unrelated hotel the next day but tat this hotel they completed the paperwork when I first arrived so when i came back later they just gave me the key. ALSO this other hotel had moved my bags to the room. GREAT SERVICE - unlike Nagoya JR Gate Tower. When you book Japanese hotels on US web sites you usually don't see the breakfast cost - InJapan it is often included on direct bookings, This hotel charges about 3000 yen per person if breakfast isn't bundled with your reservation, a drop less than they charge anyone who just walks into the restaurant. While it was a nice breakfast, I felt it was not worth that much. Other options aren't readily available. I fault the US booking agencies for not giving a breakfast options or revealing its price, A nice quiet room, clean and comfortable with good Wi-Fi.

do not stay at this hotel. the service was bad and unreasonable. I booked a room for two people for two nights with a breakfast plan under the Hopper app. when I arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff INSISTED that their system only shared a booking for one person for two nights with NO breakfast plan. After much discussion and even after showing them my booking on the app which clearly writes moderate double room with breakfast plan, the manager still refused to provide us breakfast and insisted that the system did not show them this booking and hence they cannot provide us with the breakfast and we had to pay an extra 6000 yen for the second person in addition. this is our second stay at this hotel and we are EXTREMELY disappointed with the poor service and inflexibility of the hotel.

We had expected a small room in a convenient location but was surprised by how well maintained and organized this hotel is. Room: Adequate size with a washing machine in the bathroom. Bathroom amenities more than adequate. Clean, neat and tidy rooms with good Wi-Fi. Efficient laundry service. One extra worth mentioning - they have stickers for guests to indicate which items are rubbish. Wish all Japanese hotels provide that - usually, if you thrown out large items they would keep it and ask you whether you still need it - which is time consuming for everyone involved. This is a good hotel for anyone travelling to or through Nagoya. Takashimaya is right downstairs, with many restaurants on various floors and a very big Uni-Glo. Highly recommended for travellers who like modern hotels in Japan which are well-priced and very convenient.
