The Strings Hotel Nagoya, under the concept of “a city lifestyle hotel, offering fulfillment for all who gather there,” presents a new category of hotel called “special class hotels” which has evolved from the pre-existing hotel categories of business hotels, city hotels, and resort hotels. We have created a new style, unseen in conventional hotel categories, offering a special, out of the ordinary atmosphere elaborately devised to infuse health into every dimension. Amenities based on the concepts of “healthy,” “beautiful,” and “refreshing” are offered in all of the guest rooms as an added value, from nano water (water purified with nanotechnology) and rain shower equipped baths, to down feather comforters and pillows which have undergone negative ion processing, for “special class” bedding developed in collaboration with Showa Nishikawa Co., Ltd.

This place was okay. Right off the main street leading past the train station. The rooms are small and bathroom is smaller. Bed is actually comfortable. Hard to get to lobby on the 4th floor. Be wary when arriving at night. No frills, weird part of town where nothing is. Helpful desk person. Like most places, expensive breakfast. A bit pricey for what you get.

We definitely learned that there is quite a difference in the interpretation of near and closeby when walking from the train station and it most certainly was the longest 10 minutes walk from the train station! When we finally found the hotel the entrance was confusing. We were directed to use an entrance which did not feel like the front of the hotel and then shown to the elevator which took you to the lobby on the 4th floor. All so very confusing and didn’t make us feel welcome. If there was a decor to see we missed it. Our room was pleasant enough. We did overhear conversations in the hallway. We appreciated the wallpaper in the bathroom. Very cool! We had the buffet breakfast which was ok. The eggs Benedict was really good! All in all the hotel was just OK for us. Perhaps if we were getting married it would have been a much different experience!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights . Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff pleasant .Of note were Nishigata and Tomomei who worked in the restaurant. They need to be more prominent in management as their empathic communication skills and command of language is an asset. The hotel bar and some rooms provide a pleasant aspect overlooking the wedding venue, but the bar lacks atmosphere. The unprepossessing reception is on the fourth floor. There is a smoking room overlooking the check in desk. Its frequent use by a tour group meant the door was constantly open and reception stank. We opted for a reasonablly priced upgrade. The extra space is useful and everything you need is provided. If you are at the rear you have an excellent view of the wedding church and the shinkansen. The rooms must be well soundproofed as I only heard the arguments between members of the tour group on our corridor when I was waiting for the lift – screaming, shouting, doors banging etc punctuated with individuals barging past to reach the smoking room. At breakfast Asian dishes are plentiful, hot western style options limited but there is plenty of fruit, pastries etc, The second morning the tour group were in the restaurant which was challenging regarding table manners if you were another guest, but a tactful conversation discreetly moved us elsewhere. The hotel provides excellent value and service in a pleasant situation. However, if your stay coincides with certain tours you might look elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as a stop over before heading north. What a fabulous looking building both outside and in the main guest areas. We booked a large twin which was 27m2 but on check in we were up graded to a Delux room which was 32m2. The room had everything you need-seperate bathroom and toilet, wardrobe, fridge, TV, Sofa and we had a great view over the wedding chapel and the Nagoya Shinkansen line. Considering how close we were to the train line we heard nothing in our room. This hotel has a free shuttle bus that runs every 15 mins to and from the station which was amazing. The hotel was close to a selection of great restaurants in a near by office complex.

Thank you very much for choosing us, The Strings Hotel Nagoya. Just to clarify: The room you have stayed would be 25~28 square meters and our shuttle bus runs between Nagoya station and our hotel every one hour (30 minutes on weekends and holidays) though, it is always encouraging and more inspiring whenever we receive positive feedback from our valued guests. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with the amenities and the view from your room! We look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.

The location was great - next to a superb temple, near Yagoto station (just right for the Rugby World Cup games at City of Toyota ). The room was huge, well furnished and decorated and with a view over the wedding chapel. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. This was one of 7 Japanese hotels we stayed in during our trip and it was by far the best

Stayed in a family room - loads of space and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. Breakfast was a buffet, large selection and has something for everyone. We had a room looking down on the chapel, which was amazing to look at, the only disappointment was not being able to get to it.

Thank you very much for choosing us, The Strings Hotel Nagoya. We are happy that you had a pleasant stay with the room you stayed and our service! Breakfast buffet has been changed to set menu for the safety and well-being of our guests due to the spread of COVID-19 these days. We hope that we will be able to serve our large selection-buffet in near future. However, we regret that you were unable to enter the garden around the chapel. We have started opening there in the evening for our guests on only weekends. We look forward to welcoming you back and would like to invite you to the event next time.

My son was getting married at this hotel so we thought we would stay here. It is very close to the rail way track but the windows are so good that I never heard anything. We walked to the main stations every day which is only 10 min away on foot. The hotel did not offer the room service of food and drinks but instead there were vending machines for drinks (which were very cheap) and there are many convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel. I found this hotel's wedding facility and the service and by the staff to be outstanding. The wedding planner constantly let us know what was about to happen and how we should conduct ourselves. The waiters/waitresses gave us individual attentions and told us what we were eating each course, and how we should eat it. My son used a small chapel but it was beautiful and musicians were excellent. Staff kind and well mannered. We stayed in a delux twin over looking the stunning looking white church in the courtyard. We even witnessed a yellow bullet train running beneath. It had a couple of coin operated washing machines in the lobby which was useful for our long stay.

We stayed in room 536. We checked in at noon (3pm is check In time) do they charged us 3000 Yen extra although I had rooms ready. The room is very tiny and you do not have and space for your luggage at all. The most horrible Thinge was the room was next to the elevator and you could hear that the whole night through. Thanks for that. Never stay in room 536.

The strings hotel was very comfortable and they provided all the basic, including facewash. Our little one love the scale of the tub. The service was excellecnt. It was a walk from Nagoya Station and it was nice to feel the transistion of pace. The two distinct skyscrapers close to The Strings Hotel are Prince Hotel and a Univerisity (大学)make good landmarks There is supermarket right by the Nagoya station. Near the hotel, there are a few eateries, including a MosBurger, a 7-11 and a foodcourt across the main road。The eateries in the area is catered to the working crowd. Our aim was to visit Legoland and the train station from the hotel was a leisurely 5mins walk away right along the AnomiLine. The only downside from our experience was the shuttlebus service from Nagoya Station. We needed to board it on a very rainy night. However, we were unable to locate the pick-up point. We walked all the way to the point where we thought was the pick up location and ended up missing the bus as we were off-point. At that moment, we thought that a photo of the pick-up point would have been helpful in the brochure because there was a bit of a construction going on at the pick-up location. We should have checked with the driver when we alight in the morning. We ended up taking a cab back to the hotel from Nagoya station which cost ¥1500 to get out of the rain as fast as possible.

Great location, close to everything, and only 3 mins walk to the location train station (takes you to train museum or LegoLand), or 10 mins walk to the main Nagoya station. Great size room, we are family of 4, after all, we have enough room to leave our 2 big suit cases open during our stay. and they have a 24 hours super market just 10 mins walk. ways to experience the local life
