We booked one of the larger Japanese rooms, which had an ensuite bathroom. The room was very spacious, with a separate sitting and entrance area. A fridge is provided to keep your drinks and food chilled. Drinks can be bought at the vending machine. For...More
We stayed for two nights. The first night, we booked the cheapest romm. For the second, the most expensive one. While the cheap room was totally fine, I don't even have the words for how amazing the second room was. It was, hands down, the...More

This place felt more like a hotel than a ryokan and I barely got that home feeling that is usually common at ryokans. Communication was very poor: they did not reply to my email to arrange my arrival, nor they answered the phone when I...More

About market I don`t know, but ryokan Murayama is worth to visit. You should order japanese style dinner a day in advance. It will be tasty, with many different dishes and not expensive. As I remember, about 12- 15 USD per person. I really loved it. Totally authentic japanese style. We visited lot of places in Japan and I`m ready to share my experience. My e- mail is email@example.com
