I was not happy and not satisfied about the attitude of the front desk staffs on 03 April,17. My husband and I couldn't find the breakfast coupons. I talked to one of the front desk staffs that we might lose it or we were not given when we arrived on 02 April ! She told me she did give us...

Stayed here for one night to explore Takayama, location of hotel is very good less than 10 mins walk from the station and also less than 10 mins from old town. It's in the middle of both! Unfortunately all Ryokan were too expensive so decided to stay here we weren't disappointed. The room was adequate, bed comfortable and everything very...

When I was planning my trip, I wanted to stay in a ryokan with an onsen, but three months in advance almost all of them were fully booked, while the rest were over my budget. A friend recommended this place for me since I was traveling with my father, and Western beds might be a better idea for a senior...

Can't get myself to tap a circle. Used our cell phone to call a restaurant to reserve a table but we don't speak the language, ran to the reception to seek help, every gal at the reception just stood there and refuse to take over the phone and help. One replied:"Sorry we don't do restaurant reservation". What kind of a...

Booked this hotel since our regular hotel were booked out. Turned out to be a good decision. About 10 minutes walk from Takayama station. It was snowing when we arrived via Nohi bus after our trip to Shirakawa-go. The hotel emailed us couple of days earlier to ensure our check in time. Check in was super easy and convenient. Basic...

We stayed in room #328 for 2 nights, 9th and 10th Feb, it was clean, comfortable beds (bit firm for us), quiet and a room where we where not "cooked" by the heating. Friendly staff and a short walk to anywhere in this beautiful town. Woke to find fresh snow falling, so beautiful.

The hotel was comfortable for my recent stay. My room had 2 beds, was basic but clean. There was enough space to store a couple of bags without blocking doors. Its location is convenient to the JR station. It isn't a long walk to the Miyagawa Morning Market and Old Town area, even when it's cold.

This hotel is conveniently close to the Takayama station, about 10 minutes walk and modern. Room was small, as to be expected in Japan, but at least the bathroom was a bit bigger than most, allowing you to move a little more freely vs just turning around in one spot. The view from the hotel was nice, although windows don't...

Overall we found the hotel to be decent. It's a relatively tall building in Takayama (with 9 floors) and the reception area looked pretty modern. The staff are very hospitable. Our room however was small and furnishings dated but clean. Breakfast is in a casual dine-in place on the ground floor and it was fairly decent. There is a community...

Last month we stayed in a twin bedded room for 4 nights with breakfast. We choose it because it is a short walk from Takayama train station and bus terminal. In the room there are 2 110V power points on the writing desk and another 2 points next to the bedside table. These are flat 2 pins type and if...
