Overall it was a clean hotel. I couldn't say the breakfast was impressive but it did give us a good start for the days. To me, room size was a big problem. Too small to expect comfort. The onsen was very small but it was impressively clean. However, the fact that it is very small would make me feel awkward...

I should have guessed that the Super Hotel groups offer very basic accommodation. this would have been fine, but compared to other hotels I have stayed at for the similar or less money, this doesn't cut it. The room was tiny (yes, even by Japan standards) and had an odd smell. Other than this it was acceptable, but the value...

This hotel may suit you. Minimal in design, rooms are mall but clean and comfortable. Cost is fair for what you get. Breakfast did not suit me: no fruit of any description and overall a fairly modest selection of mainly Japanese dishes. About 10 minutes to walk into the old town but it is flat and there are many interesting...

This is a nice clean hotel, however, the rooms are very small! We bring two luggages and were difficult for us as we didn't know where to put them because of the super tiny room (I think this is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in my life). Like most smaller hotels in Japan, bathroom is so small. Breakfast...

This is a friendly hotel that provides a decent breakfast, but they aren't kidding with the time frame it is available for. As typical of punctual Japanese standards, the food is packed away mere moments after the listed breakfast time so if you come down a bit late, you are out of luck! The onsen is much smaller in person...

We stayed for 3 nights in this nice and tiny hotel. It is clean and tiny but sufficient to facilitate the client. Our room is small that we found difficult to accommodate our luggage. Also, there seems almost no space for us to move around. The buffet breakfast with very limited choices is served in a small area next to...

The room was quite tiny, and we kept knocking into things. But overall, it was still clean and decent. There is also an onsen, though the timings for males and females are staggered. Breakfast was provided too, very Japanese style. Nothing special, but the mackerel was really good. Prices quite reasonable too, and the hotel was located just 5 minutes...

The hotel is well located near the station and within walking distance to the old town. We stayed here for good proximity to the bus and train station for day trips. The hotel staff have limited english, however are polite and helpful when needed. Check in and check out is efficient. The rooms are tidy but very compact, with just...

The hotel is between the JR Takayama main station and the old town Sanmachi Suji. The JR station is about 10 min with Sanmachi Suji about 15min walk. The receptions are friendly. We have a double room, the room is small but is of decent size by Japan standard. Comes with standard Japan style module bathroom and a sharp air...

compact hotel as usual, which you can hardly open your suitcase, yet the location is quite nice and they offer 5 hot spring goodies for female guests. Hot spring and the breakfast are both quite nice as well.
