This is a lovely old and traditional ryokan. Breakfast and dinner in your room. Delicious food, lovely tea. We had lovely room overlooking the river (I think the only one with its own bath and wc) and beautiful small screen painting. Our room maid (nakai-san)...More

We enjoyed staying at this ryokan that has a lovely view over the river from some of the rooms. Enjoy the onsen that can be locked for use by couples and families. The staff speak moderate amounts of english but are very kind and helpful....More

Am not sure what a rotenburo is? They do have a large and a small ofuro, which is a Japanese bath, not an onsen, (hot spring version).

Yes the rooms have heaters as well as air-conditioning. We were warm in February. Only one room has private shower and toilet.Two other rooms have private toilet but no shower. The shared bath/shower rooms are lockable... More
