First class service. The Onsen is wonderful, heavenly. Dinner and breakfast best experience. So authentic we got to wear the kimono. Our 4 year old son was spoilt so many presents and he could come in the onsen highly recommend.

10 mins walk to main attraction. Ryokan was beautiful, clean and facilities great! Onsen was clean and comfortable. Staffs very helpful, and speak English well. Breakfast set wonderful. Plus free bicycle to get around town. Highly recommend.

If you don't mind the attention, it's fine. After all , baths were yakuza's mainstays. :)

You can ask the reception but I would think 7:30-8 is a common time. Most people will leave early to do their day tours etc
