Rooms are much bigger than many hotels in Japan. Nice comfy beds. Reception staff were very helpful. Good range of food for breakfast. Hotel located not far from the Canal area and there is a cat cafe at the end of the street !!!

After 2 weeks in Japan and various connotations of room sizes and views and reception bureaucracy and check in times they all really start looking the same. The differences are super friendly reception. Good vending machines. Good wifi. Good location. This place has all of the above. Not outstanding (why do hotels get 5 stars for just ok?) Absolutely no... More

Very well placed for the canal area which is extremely picturesque. A pleasant hotel clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mostly Japanese but good enough. Rooms were comfortable and clean and had everything I needed.

This was a pretty average hotel but great for the location and for just the one night. The room was fairly small as were the single beds. It had a fridge, tea making facilities and the bathroom was decent. The canal area is just around the corner

This hotel for us was very average but to be fair we had stayed at some lovely Ryokans and boutique hotels before we arrived here. It reminded me of an old Soviet hotel. It has changed names and was once a lovely hotel but definitely needs a refurbishment. Carpet squares need to be replaced and our lounge was torn.Yes it... More

Staff were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the picturesque canal area of Kurashiki and the Ohara Museum. Tables and chairs in the restaurant. We had a very early start the next morning so the hotel prepared a Breakfast Box for us (which was more than sufficient). Room was fine. No real extra facilities (baths,... More

This hotel is very close to historical area. The room was clean and comfortable. But the noise of car park was annoying. Higher floor would be fine. Except for the noise I was pretty much satisfied.

I really enjoyed my stay at Court Hotel Kurashiki. The location is perfect, less than a 15 minute walk from the train station and just across the road from the historical canal area. The hotel itself is very welcoming, I liked it as soon as I walked into the foyer. My bedroom was the biggest I stayed in during my... More

Stayed very comfortably for 3 nights in this pleasant, professionally run hotel. It was very clean, had a nice size seating area with table and chairs and a very good Japanese breakfast. The location was central and the helpful staff gave good directions. Would book again here.
