The place is fairly new and very efficiently run. The tall, young man working at the desk is just amazing at anticipating guests' needs and works really hard.

The hot spring is small, but the water delivered from a nearby hot spring felt very healing ( I sprained my ankle during the trip and probably could still walk because of the dips in their facility).

As a female guest, I love the sachets of toiletries they prepared at the lobby. Serums, lotions, bath salts, body cream, etc - you can just pick and choose what you need. The pillow bar is really wonderful, too - all varying in thickness, so you can choose one that is just right for you.

Breakfast is a no-fuss affair, but pretty good in quality. Try the famous Hokkaido soup curry which is available every morning.

The compact room was expected but I don’t understand why they have to make the rooms so small given we were at Hokkaido where space shouldn’t be as limited as the urban areas.

It’s almost a self service hotel, all the standard Japanese amenities are available plus a pillow bar at the lobby.

For breakfast , I was looking forward to the freshly baked croissants but disappointed to find that they don’t serve it in this branch. Otherwise the selection is good given there is no extra charge for breakfast.

If I were to visit Kushiro again , I would probably pick another hotel.

A tiny room but we expected that. Very well designed with everything a larger room could offer...except floor space. Had a double bed with bunk bed over it. Extremely comfy and pillows of various types were available in the lobby. Free coffee always available. Excellent staff. The room was quiet and had a view of the city. Breakfast was quite plentiful and a bargain considering the price. We got off the airport bus and strolled round the corner to the hotel. The airport bus back to the airport stops right outside. Couldn't be more convenient. Nippon car rental only a few minutes walk away. 100 yen shop Daiso just across the railway. A super budget hotel.

Located right next to the bus terminal, this hotel has pillow a la carte and a mini natural onsen! The room is a bit bigger than Toyoko Inn and the breakfast with home-made bread is delicious! Ladies also get to choose skin/hair/body care products.

I always enjoy staying at Super hotel which is clean, convenient and includes breakfast. I particularly like this one as they have freshly baked bread!!! So I highly recommend this hotel. Staffs are friendly and can speak English too. Most of all, great location. There's 1 thing I wish they could improve though, free parking please~~~~~

Stayed on 23rd Sep. 2015 one night in Super Hotel “Tanchou no yu”. The front desk was very friendly for information. The parking space was sufficient, and the hotel location is undoubtedly comfortable for visiting the city. It’s about 5 min. walk to Nusamaibashi (Nusamai-bridge) and it’s also in easy walk distance to Washouichiba (Washou Market). The curry soup for breakfast is a positive surprise and delighted plus! The super hotel “Tanchou no yu” is just worth to recommend and must be my first choice when next time visiting Kushiro.

The location was perfect. I came to Kushiro via bus from Asahikawa and it was just a minute away from the bus stop. Also, i went tot the marsh observatory and the bus stop was near it also. The bus terminal for the tourist bus is also conveniently located on the first floor. It may be a little far from the downtown where all the food and restaurants were but there are still many small restaurants around.
They offer free freshly brewed coffee and some amenities for the ladies.
Breakfast was excellent with great variety.
Room is relatively spacious!
I will definitely come back here.

Good comfortable stay with onsen bath. The regular Super Hotel Standard. Service Staff able to speak English and is helpful. Breakfast has a reasonable range. We drove and the carpark is reasonably priced at 800 yen per night. The Washo Market is nearby. Overall, happy with our stay here and recommends the hotel.

Everything modern and advance. The hot spring is shared by men and women by turns. Unlike other hotels in Hokaido, each client have to his own fee, even he shares the same big bed with his parents. The 3-person room with 2-layer beds is quite big, but I still paid for another single room for my 4-year-old boy when I checked-in in Jan. 2014, I wish I knew this in their website in advance. Anyway, enjoy the breakfast and simple, restored hot spring from inner Hokaido.

This hotel is a wee walk from JR station, but OK as long as your bag has wheels. There is no free wifi, and nowhere to put bags in the room. But it was clean and efficient and we could choose our own pillows. The staff were friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was filling. There is a Lawsons just round the corner and a little department store near the station.
