We booked this hotel because of the famous all-you-can-eat seafood breakfast. Maybe my expectations were too high, the quality of the breakfast was not top-notch. Having said that, yes you can create your on seafood rice bowl. You can put Ikura (Salmon roe) as much as you want, there were several grilled seafood and vegetables. In addition to that, because this hotel is famous for its breakfast, there was a group of tourists from China. Their rudeness and manner at the buffet were unbearable. If the hotel can accommodate Chinese group tourists in the different buffet areas, which other hotels often do, the general guests would very appreciate and we can use the buffet cleanly.

Although the room is old, it is very clean
Japanese and Western style rooms, very cozy
The natural hot spring is very comfortable with Mount Hakodate in the distance.
Only the hair dryer in the dressing room is not powerful enough to blow hair, and toiletries such as cotton swabs and cotton pads are not provided. Pick it up early in the lobby.
Additionally, there is no laundry service. Everyone should pay attention.
The breakfast is excellent, you can eat all you want, the fish is very fresh, and there are all kinds of other Japanese and Western food. The scenery is opposite the Jinsen Warehouse, which is a great pleasure. Although the hotel is located at a JR station, there is a minibus to pick you up at the right time.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the interesting European style of the hotel and the gorgeous views from the rooftop outdoor baths (which are free to use for hotel guests). There were also complimentary hot drinks in the lobby and a few restaurants surrounding the hotel complex which made for very easy meal planning.
The room was pretty small. I wasn't expecting it to be large but it was small to an extent that the 'bathroom' was just a small cubicle with a toilet and shower area (separated) and the sink was in the room.
We had a small suitcase and a medium suitcase but they couldnt really be opened together in the room without it blocking the corridor to the door.
The bed was right next to the window and whoever slept near the window could feel a cool breeze from the window.
Despite the size of the room, the bed was comfortable and the room was cozy enough for the night's stay. There was a coffee bean grinder (and beans provided) and also 2 packs of free popcorn which seemed to be a popular snack for tourists to buy.
A basket of towel and clothes to wear to the rooftop onsen was provided in the room. The onsen was separated into male and female baths each with outdoor and indoor baths. The female changing room was huge with vanity tables and vinegar drinks which you can dispense to drink as you wish.
There were lots of people using the onsen but it doesnt seem overcrowded as there were still space for you to sit whether in the pools or the shower area. The indoor area had 2 indoor baths and one cold water bath while the outdoor area had one large bath and 3 small tubs. It was snowing while I was there so enjoying a hot soak while feeling the snowfall was a very lovely experience. The outdoor area was sheltered but the wind did blow the snow into the pool.
After the hot bath, we could cool off with the ice lollies back out in the common area which could be enjoyed while looking out at the beautiful view. Such a good idea, especially if you had to wait for a partner to finish.
The breakfast didn't disappoint! Such a variety of food to choose from, even unlimited crab roes!
The notices say that the restaurant gets busy from 8am onwards so we went at 7:30am and there was already a long queue to get in (but it wasnt a long wait). It turns out that if you were to arrive at 9am for breakfast (that was when we left) the queues would be much shorter and there would still be enough food.

A lot of foreigners were staying here, probably due to the inbound influence.
The wooden railings in the open-air bath were rotten. (They were repaired and secured the next day.)
The outdoor temperature was quite lukewarm, probably due to the outside temperature.
I expected breakfast, but it was not like it was shown on TV, just like a normal business hotel.
For a seafood seller, there was not much variety.
Desserts and bread were also frozen. I only made pudding.
The room was twin, but there was only one outlet at the pillow, and the desk outlet was used to charge the phone.
The bed was in a small stairwell, which was difficult to use.
The hotel seems to have been around for quite some time and felt quite old. The bath was nice as it had a sauna. The breakfast area was packed and until I got the popular menu item I felt like I was on a packed train.
But the seafood bowl with lots of salmon roe was delicious.
The biggest problem was the air conditioning in the room.
It's centrally controlled so you can't control the temperature as you want.
It was quite inconvenient that you couldn't dry it even if you wanted to.
I heard that they have opened an annex, so next time I'd like to try that too.
